I love this rig, and took it as far as I my money and skill would let me. Due to hardship, I want to go to a mud member at a good price. I've been told it's a factory soft top.
The 2F engine is on the frame, and cross member was installed by btb products here in Las Vegas. The 2F engine is from an 87 FJ60, and has been rebuilt. The re-built axles are from a 76 FJ40, and have disc brakes. The tires are new, but the rim off-set is not deep enough to accommodate the new disc brake calipers. The gas tank has been repaired, and the seats, (including rear) have been redone. Brake master cylinder is new. New water pump and bumperettes. Hi lift jack is included. I have a 77 FJ40 I am rebuilding with Axles from a 71. I am missing one of the front locking hubs. I have searched the internet and have not been able to successfully find hubs for my axles. They are 12 spline. Any suggestions?

and the idiocy continues. this one is all original. its just missing that little part in the front. whats it called.....oh yeah the GD engine. Hes firm at 6 and no low bollers (spelled wrong).

Toyota Land Cruiser BJ40
Selling this for a customer. The engine, wiring harness and instrument cluster are from an 82 FJ40. The 57790 on the odometer does not reflect the actual miles on the truck but may apply to the 82 engine. (I'm checking) The truck itself reportedly has 77,000 miles and from the looks of that front OEM mat, I would not be surprised if that is accurate. Evidently the engine failed and she was in storage for several years. I have the previous two owners contact info.
The Engine is said to run great. Tested compression and ranged between 138-142. Transmission, transfer case and 4WD work well. New clutch, master cylinder. The Warn winch works. Family roll cage installed. Rock sliders below running boards.

I am looking for a fuel door lock catch that screws into the top of the fuel filler recess on the tub that the lock on the fuel door catches. I believe that a 73-79 will work on my 73. I have attached a couple of pictures. Thanks.

1970 and two 1972 FJ40's. One frame has a clean title. There are three frames and bodies, in various stages of restoration. The most complete body has been professionally primed with a new PACOL tub paired to the firewall. I have many spare parts for 1970-1980's model FJ40's. I have at least two of most everything. I have a 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser. Chevy 350 with edelbrock intake and carb. Headers. turbo 400 trans. Everything works. I drive it a few times a week. This 40 comes with the complete hard top. It has a 2 inch body lift and shackles. Also has a conferr aux gas tank from 1978. It is a good California cruiser. I was told it was a ranch cruiser most of its life. It's a solid classic example of a fj40. I bought it off a friend who had it for the last 20 years he drove it in high school. Than he let it sit for the last 10 years. For sale is a nice FJ40 Land Cruiser. This is a great running Land Cruiser that has the original Toyota 2F engine that has been rebuilt. It also has the original 4-speed manual transmission. Power steering has been installed. It has the Old Man Emu 4" lift kit with Black Diamond Shocks and a Reverse Shackle System. It has front disk brakes and rear drums. It has a new Bestop soft top installed. It also includes a canvas bikini top. The underside and interior floor pan have been bed lined. There are no signs of rust throughout the entire cruiser.
