I bought this FJ60 brand new in 1985. Used it quite a bit in the early years, but sparingly over the past 25 or so, mostly as a utility vehicle for hauling tools, lumber and construction materials. It's in good shape inside and out and cannot believe how many people ask about it when I'm out and about. Haven't used it in the last 8 months or so after having lots of work done on it in 2022. Carburetor has been a lingering problem, so finally decided to rebuild. It's an Aisan 21100-61141. Got a rebuild kit from Mike's Carburetors. Currently putting back together after strip down, dipping and cleaning. Finding some parts of kit are slightly different design than those removed, especially the needle valve and seat asembly, although Mike's assures me this is the kit # to replace it. Anyone experience these anomalies when re-building the Aisan carb?

@cruiseroutfit also sells kits.

Do the components fit?
Yes, everything seems to fit. Getting it all back together now, but want to replace the diaphragm in the secondary vacuum actuator and cannot find one anywhere. The carburetor kit I bought for it has the gasket for sealing the diaphragm in the actuator body, but no rubber diaphragm. Tried looking around everywhere for it. Any ideas where I might get it? Thanks.

Great advice here with parts listed from various manufacturers. The Keyster kit from Cruiser Outfitters/Cruiserteq is my go to for the Aisin carbs as they have a higher percentage of applicable parts. No one kit has all of the exact right parts in my experience though! You'll have to piece a few things together for a FULL rebuild. City Racer is a good resource for small individual bits, like the correct secondary diaphragm. I believe Napa has that too (make sure the rod coming out of the diaphragm is BENT and not straight though). Some parts of any kit will go unused, so keep that in mind. Good luck!

We've stock the OEM and aftermarket secondary diaphrams for many years too!
