I have a 1981 BJ 41 with a 2B Diesel and a H41 Transmission. It has a Bestop Softtop with soft doors and a Bikini Top with half doors. It is currently fitted with a set Recaro Front Seats, no back seats. Has had the head gasket replaced and some other minor engine work and runs well, shifts well and drives well. Factory Power Steering and PTO Drive box ( No Winch ) . She has a Nevada as a Diesel so is an easy swap to CA Title ( I just did it on my other truck ) Running 16" Alloy Centerline wheels with 33 x 12.5 tires in good condition. Now I won't lie it has some rust and needs some love. She is a solid base for a build and runs and drives well BUT she could do do with some body panels and love. I do have a few other Cruiser tubs...

BUILT FJ40, ready to crawl!
1970 FJ40 Crawler I am putting up my Crawler for sale. I bought this truck from a fellow forum member. The build was done by Mr jits, and you can see the very detailed build (14 pages) BUILD THREAD I bought this FJ 3 years ago with the plans to start doing some offroad crawling. Rather than starting up this new hobby, My boys became teenagers, and we have gone a different direction in life. Currently, We are planning an off the frame restoration of my 1977 FJ40, so our time has gone that direction. I hate to admit it, but I have not taken Olivia out on the trails or challenged her at all. During here first year here, I drove her around town and to the ranch a few times. CA: FJ40 Trail Rig
I've decided to get rid of my FJ40. I have had a good time working on it and driving it when I did. I have not had a chance to take it out on the trail. I bought it from a friend with intent to take on a new hobby but have since lost interest in its purpose. It is currently not running. Sitting on the side of the house taking up the space where I'd like to have the travel trailer. I have a thread here on Mud with all that I have done with it over the years. Linked in my signature below. I love it and hate to get rid of it but I wish it was more road worthy and at this point I could use the money rather than wait to build it into what I would have in mind. Please PM me for details. $11,000 firm (with the trailer). Toyota Landcruiser FJ40
Early 72 FJ40 for sale, Durango, CO
Unfortunately have to sell March 1972 FJ 40. Mostly stock. Starts and runs everytime. Brand new brake slave cylinders all the way around (2 months ago). Clean title. Have owned it since 1990. Trailered it over to Justin at High County Cruisers in Pagosa Springs, CO so he could check it out and give an unofficial appraisal. 8K # Ramsey PTO winch and gear box go with it. PM for more details and pics. Asking $19,500
Im selling this cruiser for a friend. He has owned it for 12 plus years. It sits in his heated garage and he has put about 2000 miles on it in this time. Says it came from California. Virtually rust free, has new tires and was painted 10 years ago. Odometer says 44,000 miles but in my opinion it is not correct. Has power steering and air, but air does not work. Cruiser has some odd markings, vent window, no marker lights in rear, odd seat belts, ugly rims although new, and ugly chrome bumper and headlight bezel. Price is $60,000. I don’t expect to sell it here on mud but I thought I might as well. Please call me with any questions Thanks James 631 873 6912
1979 Toyota Landcruiser⁦‪nashville.craigslist.org‬⁩ I saw this truck the other day. It's got "previous rest cracks" in the rear sill and some waves under the bib. I wasn't looking to buy, just wanted to see what a South American FJ40 looked like. It proves what I've read about the factories down there use overstock old parts. It looks odd up here for an '82 to have a rear hatch and half barn doors. He just spent (too much) for a local shop to do a decent list of repairs. I didn't drive it either. but he offered. Nice guy. Most likely has some breathing room in the price. If anyone is REALLY interested, I'd be glad to go drive it and take detail pictures if you want.
