I think I saw that one near Dunmore, spring over, v8 conversion, everything scabbed up real bad. Larry

Yep, same one.

I saw that it was for sale. I talked with Toyrod about it, too. What do they want, like $5,000 for it?

I'll just stick with my almost-stock '70, thanks!

We actually had a guy show up with one of those on a 40 at the TLCA Thanksgiving run in 1991, the year we winched up the waterfalls of Surprise Canyon to Panamint City.

As suspected, the rod buckled right next to the gusset, shortly after the first waterfall, and out came Marlin's welder to the rescue.

That was only the beginning of a LONG day of carnage.

God I feel old remembering that stuff now!

I LMAO everytime I read it. Funny stuff and great sarcasm!

71-cruiser, first time I've seen that site... Just to funny

That is a sweet scary steering job indeed. The SOA, the fabulous gussetting on the Z-link, and the stock 40 steering. But I look at that and I wonder: where on earth is the exhaust going on the passenger side? Underneath the frame rail or something?

that's one of those crappy Slik-Fit/AA headers appearing to dump straight down on the ground. Me thinks he needs just a few more pipe clamps. If 2 are good, 10 are better!

The best.

On second thought, yeah I thing this is well withing the working angle of this joint. LMAO:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The sad part is the first thing I noticed was the GINORMOUS lift blocks and radius arms to locate the axle due to the blocks.

Followed by "that DC joint looks bro-OH GOD THEY MEANT FOR IT TO LOOK LIKE THAT"

Fawkin show trucks :bang: waste of an NP205 and a 14 bolt. Like the hacked crossmember, why not just unbolt the damn thing.

I'll say it again - Some people should not be allowed to own tools. Can you imagine the possibilities at 65 MPH.
