Does anyone go through automatic car washes with their Gamiviti rack? I've been only handwashing since I installed my Gamiviti almost a couple years ago. It'd be nice to be able to go through an automatic car wash for convenience some times.
Thought I would circle back on the car wash since I've had the rack on for about a month. Probably went through 6 times with no issue. Pop the fairing off and no issues. ymmv.

Bit of a technical question. I installed my rack using the 2nd hole from the top on the front towers. I'm now feeling it is at least a notch high... maybe two. Anyone running on the lower notches on the front towers?

Some gamiviti porn for you...

@wiseinvestor I think that looks great, man. How is the wind noise? Only reason to adjust that gap would be to try to reduce it a little... but better to keep the plastic off the roof if you are ok with it as-is. Just remember if you do want to lower the front to loosen all of the bolts (rack and towers) if you make a height adjustment, so everything can reset a little.

sweet pics!

Wind noise is minimal... comes in around 45- 50 mph if I'm listening for it. I do feel like I have some room to come down while keeping the fairing off the paint. Its more of aesthetic thing. I'll give it some thought. Thanks for the tips.

I like the way the rack tube extends over the roof. Does anyone grab onto the tube to help climb up into the driver seat?

My front towers are in the same spot, second adjustment hole from the top. My rear towers are in the 4th hole from the top.
There's definitely room for the front to sit lower as the fairing is nowhere near the roof, however I couldn't get it to come down any further.

what does additional 4th plate/hardware mean when ordering? whats the 4th plate and hardware?

I only got 3 towers but ordered the 4th plate anyway. I can add a 4th tower in the future if I needed to, but mainly I like the plates as mounting points.

All of these 200 series pics are making me very sad as I stare at my ol' 100 =[
