Thought I would circle back on the car wash since I've had the rack on for about a month. Probably went through 6 times with no issue. Pop the fairing off and no issues. ymmv.Does anyone go through automatic car washes with their Gamiviti rack? I've been only handwashing since I installed my Gamiviti almost a couple years ago. It'd be nice to be able to go through an automatic car wash for convenience some times.
Wind noise is minimal... comes in around 45- 50 mph if I'm listening for it. I do feel like I have some room to come down while keeping the fairing off the paint. Its more of aesthetic thing. I'll give it some thought. Thanks for the tips.@wiseinvestor I think that looks great, man. How is the wind noise? Only reason to adjust that gap would be to try to reduce it a little... but better to keep the plastic off the roof if you are ok with it as-is. Just remember if you do want to lower the front to loosen all of the bolts (rack and towers) if you make a height adjustment, so everything can reset a little.
sweet pics!
Bit of a technical question. I installed my rack using the 2nd hole from the top on the front towers. I'm now feeling it is at least a notch high... maybe two. Anyone running on the lower notches on the front towers?
Some gamiviti porn for you...

I only got 3 towers but ordered the 4th plate anyway. I can add a 4th tower in the future if I needed to, but mainly I like the plates as mounting points.what does additional 4th plate/hardware mean when ordering? whats the 4th plate and hardware?
