The weathertech shades worked perfectly. The exped on the arb drawer worked a treat as well.

Just getting caught up on this thread and the wheels... man I was NOT a fan of the bronze TRD pro/HE wheels. But these, these look _awesome_.
Hey thanks for the kind words. I am still very happy with them, and they have held up great so far.

Budget refrigerator. I picked up this ICECO JP 30 off amazon for $269. So how does this work now... Do they just mail me my overlander membership card, or do I have to call someone?

It’s an email, you just print it and attach to your Molle panel

I normally post something after it is done... but I'm pretty excited about this.

Goal: Roof Rack - Strong but low profile -get in the garage even with possible future suspension mods.
Short list: Front Runner, Eezi-Awn, Rhino-Rack, Prinsu and Gamiviti.
Well documented pros and cons on each. For months I leaned towards the Prinsu (low profile, price, and flexible slot rails.)

However, I kept finding myself going back and looking at Gamiviti. Aesthetics, Low profile, Strong - checking boxes.
But it didn't feel like a rack for a noob. It felt custom and specific.... and I just strap a ground tent to my factory rails.

After seeing one this summer on @linuxgod rig and hearing his thoughts, I decided to take another look.
I learned a bit about the process looking at this thread:
Your dream Gamiviti rack

A few weeks ago I sent a question to the company email and was surprised to immediately get a call back from Tim. Well s***, that's extraordinarily good service - I'm in - build me something.

He listened to my concerns, guided me and answered my questions. A couple back and forth tweaks and I placed an order
This is what it looks like:

I'm excited for my Christmas present.

Thanks to @linuxgod for the advice and @nakman for providing consultation during the design.

Cool. Why didn’t you run the grid up to the sunroof?

Cool. Why didn’t you run the grid up to the sunroof?

Good question.. My simple answer: The grid is for firewood. Additional grid prevents roof cleaning.

More detailed: This really illustrates the whole gamiviti conundrum that I went through. Because you a have that flexibility of not covering every inch of roof with tie down points... you get stuck in determining where you will ultimately need them. Other racks cover your entire roof but solve with accessories. A gamiviti rack might be superior but you need to think about it ahead of time. This was far more daunting in my mind than it was once Tim started guiding me. I realized I was suffering from analysis paralysis.

I decided to give myself reasonable flexibility with some side gussets and added additional plates for tie future tie down options.

What I would use a rack for:

Same as now;
Thule Cargo box
Ground tent transport

Plus:
Side mount use: Awning / Shower tent
Possible pelican storage box for dirty items
Possible solar panel
Fire wood (short distance)

Hit the Hoosier National Forest last weekend with my son.

I ripped my front plate and bracket off making a 9 point turn in some heavy brush.
Came home and placed an order for an exact replacement of my missing plate:

The new plate arrived today, but was slightly different from what I ordered..

I guess I have a difficult decision to make.

Install of my Gamiviti Roof Rack went off without any drama.
I was very careful not to lose any of the factory captive bolts in the rain gutter.

I put an extra helping of dynaflex around the holes prior to attaching the new rack towers.

I am really excited about having this rack on my truck. This rack seems very well constructed. I like the low profile and love the way it looks.
