Spotted what looked to be a late 60's forty with the rare Johnson outboard mod on the roof rack in Asheville

I believe that is the one year only option of a "side thruster" Big ships have copied it for years now

Saw a tan 60 (or 62) in a parking lot at the corner of Market and Kerr in Wilmington. Couldn't snap a pick due to traffic.
With the small sedan parked cock-eyed nearby, the cop & cruiser and agitated facial expressions of everyone present, I suspect it had just been in an accident.

I just saw a white 40 being towed behind a Penske truck on Tyvola Rd approaching 77. Kinda looked like the one that the Southpark girl drives. Roof rack was the only distinguishing thing I could make out from where I was.

Spotted what appeared to be a lifted Antique Sage Pearl 40th anniversary edition on Hwy 74 near Laurenburg (or was it Rockingham) today around Noon. From my quick glance, it appeared the fender flares were removed and the area raptor lined and there was a bike and cargo box on the roof. Guessing they were on the dreaded drive home from the beach.

Went to Hobo's (in Fort Mill) for a beer last night and saw this in the parking lot. I've never seen it before, and it didn't have a license plate to even indicate what state it was from.

about 20 min ago, a tan or light gray 40 with front and rear bumper, had some blue water cans and fuel on the back jerry holder. Seen on Cleveland school road, i was turning out of the BP at the emporium. Nice rig, didnt know there clayton was representing!

I saw a stock burgundy 80 series on I485 near Exit 30 being loaded on a flat bed. I did not see an owner, only the tow truck driver. There was no SHP sticker on it, so not sure what happened or how long it was there. Kinda sad.
If I would have seen an owner I would have stopped.
