I think there is enough interest since so many more people are building 80s than the initial production run a number of years ago.

That said, with something like this, id probably ask for 1/2 up front....

also would you be able to leave it in pieces due to shipping it to New Zealand

In - you're a good man for taking over. I might be able to find some other folks if you are worried about falling short on 25.

Yeah, I'm not really worried that I won't sell the 25. I am concerned with the price of machining that pulley. I've got a few more quotes back, and it's more than I thought it would be. I'm hoping to drive the price down on that part, so we should still be ok on these, especially if we can get more than 25 made.

Worst case, the 25 quantity price may have to jump up to $350.


If everyone is OK with that, then I'll be ready to start taking orders soon. I will require a deposit (though that was never the plan from the beginning), JUST to cover the up-front price on machining these pulleys. I'm just a bit hesitant to shell out over 3k from my own pocket.

$100 deposit would cover the majority of it, and I'll cover the rest. I'll let you guys know when we're ready. Thanks for the continued interest!

^^^ Unlimited 10cfm air supply! If you air down/up, inflate anything or blow the trail dust off/from inside your rig at the end of the day before setting camp then you'll never regret a real OBA set-up.

When you can inflate a 35" tire in about 60-seconds or less...you'll find yourself airing down more often!

And at $25 and climbing for CO2 refill (Reno) you'll pay yourself back better than most Wall Street investments ...and never run out of air. Not to mention not using up precious interior cargo space with a large CO2 set-up...
