Week 1: Driving Impressions as a DD
Well this was my first full week of driving Rojo to work everyday and dropping 2 kids off at school. I am not sure what my mileage was but my gas gauge only moved a little (nice). The truck drives pretty good , I have some play in the steering which I am guessing might be tie rod ware. The ride is a bit more bumpy when compared to the 100s of course, but my kids love it ! I am still getting used to shifting gears and when to shift / down shift as the auto has made me lazy. I do like the access in the back with the barn doors which makes it easy to toss a few items in the back.
Over all the truck is larger than I had realized. both in height and width which is good as I have plenty of room for kids, dogs and stuff. I was a little concerned about shifting to a two door vs 4 door as a DD, but after going over getting in and out with my kids they seem to rather enjoy the climbing and jumping out.
So I have found a few small items that I need to fix.
1. rear wiper and motor missing - thanks to she's mad I can check this off my list.
2. 2 of the rear seat belt buckles part missing.
3. passenger side mirror has a crack which makes it shake bad.
