Entire assembly in good working order.
I may have a spare assembly but it is lacking the lens. If you track down a spare lens my '66 needs one and we could perhaps work out a trade 
What are you calling a entire assembly? Besides the lens and light there is a bracket that bolts to the roof the light mounts to. I do have a complete spare dome light assembly. I bought a new OEM dome light when I bought my 45 even thought mine was still in good shape. I bought a bracket last year from a member here.
Didn't realize it changed in 66. I know the later ones were like the FJ40 mounted in the B pillar. What were they like in 66 that same as the FJ40 mounted over on the driver side?

I should have clarified that I am missing the light and the bracket. As I understand the light is mounted in the middle, above the rear window. I am also wondering if the dome has the switch on the dash or is it on the light?
It is switched on the light itself. I can get some pics tonight.

That is what both of mine look like. The switch is on the ground circuit. Two small plates spot welded to the back. Two holes in each. One is for mounting the light the other is for securing the lens. The light itself is not thread to hole the lens on.

Whitey45 had a dome light. Had it blasted and powder coated along with other trim parts. Looks good.
