my WAG would be that those are gold to both of those guys and the chance of prying one away from them would be slim to none, I could be wrong tho.

you may end up buying a complete carb just for the float.

While I don't disagree, i would bet there could be some trades for complete rebuild and yours being a core of sorts, always worth a try...

Or you can trim a later model float to fit.

there is a thread somewhere with pics of floats modified to fit the sd40. I couldn't find the thread.

Aisan single barrel carburetor question about missing parts

Morning guys I'm having a problem with an Aisin single barrel that's on my 1968 FJ55. It flooded the engine out and I figured it was a bad adjustment on the float. I ordered a Keyster kit and received it, but found something that mystifies me. Referring to the F engine manual pages 5-8, 5-9...
