I ended going a different route using a couple Hubbell weathertight fixtures (and a converter pigtail adapter to the PV's SB50) for my 110v out & PV panel in.

Ok last air/power bracket I swear. I was down this path but I just wanted to check off all the boxes and I think I have. Mounting for the SB175 (think winch or jumper cables using 1/0 cable) and an air coupler.

I just had a few questions from folks asking if the Viair compressors can fit on the shelf WITH the 2.5g tank in place. The answer is yes but I did not include the hole spacing for those because there were too many possibilities add some holes would run into each other. So while it is possible you will need to drill a few holes for your application

I seem to be getting a lot of questions lately about the York OBA setup since I started taking pre-orders on the bracket and pulley kit: Bringing back the York OBA bracket and pulley kit!

Rather than writing a novel with each PM or email that comes in or sit on the phone for a good hour trying to explain the pros and cons of different aspects oft he OBA system, I figured I would start one thread that encompasses everything pertaining to this setup. At the same time I would like to get some discussions going pertaining to options and kits. My goal is to make different kits available depending on what your wallet, time or bravery will allow.

I am going to be right up front and say that nearly everything I am going to show on the diagram, or make available in kit form, can be purchased right from Harbor Freight. I say that because I am a realist. But at the same time, I'm NOT putting Chinese junk in my truck or anyone else's truck so I will be sourcing the best quality for the money, period.

As you look at the diagram you will see that I may have gone over board (big shock) with how I may do some of my hose routing or even available disconnects or even the type of hose. Well, that's just me, I won't change :flipoff2: but my goal is to take the fear out of doing this mod. Now yes, there are about a dozen or so other York OBA threads and I will be sure to bring that tech in here as well to try and pull everything into one place. I want to make it as easy as I can for people to understand as well since there were pieces of the puzzle that even I had to do some research on. I knew the what, just not always the why. Heck, I'm sure all the folks that have already gone this route will point out my mistakes in no time. :)

Do you have to drill new holes in the RATS to put the tank and compressor on the shelf? Plus it can handler the weight of the two items on there??

Yes you will need to drill a few holes since mounting both wasn't part of the original design AND because adding the full pattern of holes for the Viairs would have interfered with other standard mounting holes.

Yes, weight isn't an issue with the shelf.
 
Last piece of the puzzle has finally arrived. All I need to do is design the bracket for it, assemble the kit, and go!

Is this a water separator? I need to get with you sometime in the next month and figure out what all I need to get this together. Still not sure on tank mount and which fittings I'd use on my stock bumpers that would still work with aftermarket bumpers when I go that route.

Coelescing, yes.

Easiest is the "L" bracket or the "U" bracket. Its just two holes needed and only needs a flat surface.
 
I have the first unit wired up and tested. Its not pretty because its a lot of working around stuff and figuring out which connectors to use. I think I know what I need to do to work these out.

PS - I think the gauge is off 90*. :flipoff2:

PPS - Just kidding. I don't go to the gym. I am in the garage replacing sh*t on my 100% reliable Toyota product.
