This all shows how down bad Joey is, all he had to do is pay Jason at TT and he could have turned around and made $2,000 immediately by putting his logo on some bushing press tools, but the didn't even have the $3kish needed upfront to do so.

That’s old school business practices. Why pay a vendor to resell goods when you can just resell and take 100% of the profit without actually purchasing the goods? I saw someone on FB post they were waiting for a bushing kit and had been waiting with no communication and of course wits groupies came defending. I’m sure that guy let it go past 60 days and is now out almost $300. This guy has been scamming people left and right!

Was completely unaware of this whole situation until reading today. Purchased from Joey over the years, and he was always a helping hand when I had questions. Unfortunately, this guy conned a lot of people. I can recall telling people "Oh he has a lot going on right now!" Bullsh*t. I hope all of you can find some sort of resolution. It is clear the ship has sunk.

One thing I always found odd is the constant posts about supply chain issues, website issues, etc. As someone who works with e-commerce every day, you would think he would have switched platforms if BigCommerce was really that bad. Endless excuses. This is fraud.

My situation doesn't matter, as I am not out of $6K+. However, I have recommended Wits' End to many people, and that sucks.

Makes me cringe just seeing the logo anywhere in my 80 now.

….I contacted Wits End and the reason for the delay was this, "The box of 60mm that I got in from my machinist were all damaged from shipping. I had him run another batch and is nearing completion." At the time I gave it little thought. Followup messages went unanswered and I finally did a charge back. Upon later rereading the message from WE left me wondering how these solid metal bushing presses that can withstand tons of pressure were damaged in shipping.

I think he started as a legit and stand up business, no? He made some things that helped the community.
This is no excuse for how badly things went sideways but I don't think he started Wit's End to rob people.
That said where thing are now is criminal and a community who is so willing to help and support each other was taken advantage of and defrauded.
Sucks.
