Ordered stock rims and hubcaps for Roy today. Should be here on Saturday. Next up, tires. I would like BFG MTs and the wife is lobbying for BFG AT's Stock size, thinking 29".

Does anyone have any pics similar rigs with AT and MTs? She needs pics...

Ok, its been busy,..... Lots of stuff going on...changed jobs......etc...life....etc... got some stuff done...

Engine is all cleaned up and de-greased, resealed, etc. I carried my 65FJ40 home on Friday (Stopped by to see Poser on teh way home)... its good to have along side the 45 while putting stuff back in. I leave Sunday for 2 weeks.....Im trying to get as much done as i can..... Tonight LAME stopped by and completed the last break fitting... then we had a beer and discussed oil filter placement. The new booster and dual master may give us some trouble....LAME came up with a nice solution..... more on that later....

I followed your build thread. Great looking rig. Ive told the DA that we are going to go with MT's. The yellow truck has ATs as does my 80.... cant have 3 Cruisers with ATs....i think there is some sort of law against that....

More progress.

Clutch and associated linkage went into place this week. The clutch is officially "clutch-ing". And the good news is im quickly running out of large parts...

Last night the gear box for the PTO went back together without to much trouble. Need to order some hardware for it and it should be good to go. I will slap the gearbox back on tonight. I need a shift lever for the gear box. If you know of one please let me know.

I still need a carb. if anyone has one they can part with I would appreciate it. the one i have is off a J**P and im pretty certain i dont want that thing back on Roy....

More progress no pics.

Updated starter to 84 FJ60 Starter...
Added PTO gearbox, still need shift linkage
Chased all frame threads with tap and cleaned

PROGRESS!

Finally got some time int eh shop this weekend. I had 3 boxes of parts that needed a home.

I received a old new stock regulator from a fellow MUD member, box of water pump stuff from spector and various other odds and ends. New UPGRADED starter from a 84 FJ60.... wired that up.....water pump, sand blasted painted and installed various parts... and had a couple adult beverages along the way.

Saturday I took a break from workin on Roy. Grabbed the Yellow truck and met Mike Hogan in Taylors Falls Wi for breakfast. after breakfast we drove about 150 miles of back country Wisconsin roads in search of the perfect bloody marry... Its an elusive devil.... we will try again....
