Interesting thread. I have an empty hole there too, but as mine is a '79 it might be big enough for that nozzle.

My 11/69 truck does not have what you are showing. It had two holes with tiny single stream nozzles which were shot. I popped the later model ones in and now it sprays 4 streams

79 had the hole in the hood with a dummy nozzle. It’s just plastic with no holes. The other nozzle is over the windshield. When the nozzle switch was made they didn’t bother to change the hood. The nozzle in this thread will fit. Below is a pic of the dummy nozzle.
