'77 Drivers side window. Window goes up and down fine but when it reaches the top I notice the window is slightly crooked. It's sloping down rear to front. When the top rear is in the gasket the top front 3-4" is below the gasket by 1/8" or so. I get a whistle from it when driving. If I crank on the door handle I can get it seated in the gasket but then after a bit it drops down again. Had the door panel off and looked at some youtube door videos but can't figure out if there is any sort of adjustment you can make on the window regulator. Was hoping I could adjust the window where it is attached to the regulator but that doesn't seem to be the case.

There is adjustment.
Irrc it's one or both of the circled locations.

Have the same problem with the passenger door on my '78. Haven't had a chance to tear into it yet.

I seem to recall there some mention of adjustment either in the factory manual or the Chilton. I try to drive with the windows fully up or down - I think the mechanism doesn't wear as much if its tight against the limits. The big circle looks familiar, but its been since like 1983 I did something.
