Yep. Dizzy rotor should be pointing just to the right of plug #4 on compression stroke TDC for cylinder 1, IIRC. Saw in a Redline video that I should be able to rattle or spin the first three pushrods if #1 is TDC compression.

For what it’s worth…
I adjusted my valves to the cold clearances according to the handy map y’all shared. I turned the engine over by hand. Felt like I knew what I was doing. Had no problems, and 10 out of 12 valves needed a little loosening. I plan to readjust them warm once the engine is assembled and running. The job is done. It was not rocket surgery.
Thanks for the technical support that allowed me to do this with confidence instead of concern.

Another perspective. Uses hot clearances, which is what I will do after the engine is assembled and running.
