I'm getting ready to pack her up and relocate to MN, and trying to figure the best use of space. Has anyone squeezed a full or queen (or other) sized mattress inside their rig? I'm not talking about portable camping stuff and overlanding ideas, I mean has anyone been able to fit a mattress inside - maybe ontop of the chairs folded down? Yes, I know - go outside and measure - I'm just curious if anyone has first hand experience.

Thanks friends.

I have a queen size foam mattress in mine. I had to cut the bottom corners and about 8 inches off of the top. It fits perfectly width wise the rest of the way.

I built a full platform in the back of mine out of 80/20 and plywood. It has 2 sections - one lays up to the 2nd row, the other mounts in place of the second row. A full-size mattress fits snugly to the back of the front seats with the 2nd row folded or my complete platform in place. Keep in mind this is above the wheel wells...

It fit in mine with a bit of room to spare, full-size pillow top.

Welcome to Minnesota!
