yeah I dig the pig. unfortunately now I want one too.

oh an the piggy will not be making the Asheville meet nor Cullawhee nor anything else 250 miles away til there is a diesel/trailer in the mix cause ive driven all of 5 miles on pavement and it scares the ever livin' s#*t out of me

Just get some adjustable Rancho 9000's and you will be good. You can get them real firm for stability. Or hook the rear sway bar back up.

now does it handle that way because of the body lift or the welded rear. or will that make a difference at all.

 totally over looked the sway. thanks troll. i had the rancho's on my P'finder and they were great; these are new shocks but the cheapest available. i did not get the sway w/ the truck and i imagine there would be a little tweaking to fit a sway after the SOA; but anyone got an extra? or other solutions.

Hey this is Travis, yeah Busby checks mud ever so often but not everyday. He still has his pig, got the exterior completely re-done, looks new. The interior is getting done now, he bought an FJ and is moving back to the Greenvillle area so he should be getting more active with the club.

Jason, that pig looks like too much fun! Makes me wonder about my whole "back to stock thing."

Yeah but you already got a trail rig (FJC!;)) so stock is a cool route to go. If it makes you feel any better seein yours made me question the hasty purchase of this behuemouth. but i love it and it is loads of fun ( even better after i mount the PS like it is supposed to be!!)

Cant wait to see that thing , hell cant wait to see em all:pig::pig::pig:

Hey this club seems to have a thing about piggies on there madien voyage and them breaking down and taking forever and a day to get it out....atleast you were able to get yours started back up again...some others in the club have not been so lucky

And that is the most ironic statement I have ever heard you say.

Its pretty ironic since your pig and mine have both moved under their own power more recently then Chucks 40.

new record distance from home...

So this little piggy went downtown to argue w/ the county tax dept on her value. They said she was worth $3800, and i said '' show me the money ". Best part was that i got even w/ the lady in the tax office for not accepting my letter and 2 dozen pictures as proof. Since it wouldnt fit in the parking garage she had to meet me down the block at the county health dept's open lot. Get this, we were both there and she goes back to the office thinkin im a noshow. When i call her back she says " oh, i thought you had a lifted up 4x4 on some big tires". what?????? i guess in high point chevy truck terms this little piggy is still small in her eyes. ( im also guessing now she never looked at the photos )

Anyhow on the way back i ran into the same officer we met on the trail and shared a UC card w/ him this time and pointed him to several good deals ive spied lately, so w/ any luck we will have another new member soon. he said he knew that had to be the same truck as hes never seen another like it, but had to come over to share his appreciation of the new paint job.

pig on the town--
downtown 003 (Small).webp

and i thought this was going to end with a happy ending.....
