The early ones for the 40's? 85110-60030

Don't tell me Toyota. There was a company that made them for Mr. T. Trying to find out who.

Copied this from Semlins photo.

Why...do you have any? I'd be interested in 2...

you can still get them from Toyota Dean, from Japan, for an arm and a leg $250 each plus shipping . I got a pair a few years back for $55 a pop if I remember correctly. If only Toyota hadn't dropped selling non-usa parts here we could still get them as they came on Non-US 40s on the split windshield models until the end of the run in '84. Or atleast I believe that is the case, if not I am sure John will set me straight :D

Wow...$250 each is very steep. Besides, I just purchased a bunch of little parts I was looking for, so I am going to have to wait and see if I can't find a couple working motors for a whole lot less than. I did call up my local Toyota parts guru, and he could not find this number in his Toyota system.

yeah they wiped it from the US parts system. It is valid on ToyoDIY in Europe....

You could try Classic Cruisers in Salida, CO they have a huge collection of 40's and many of them pre-67 with the wipers you need. I have been to the yard in person a couple of times and have seen quite a few sets of the wipers. If I had know you couldn't get them from Toyota here anymore I would have picked some up last time I was there

I have 4 or 5 kicking around, need to test them, i will let you know, $50 each if they work, $25 needing rebuild.

Toyota has stopped selling alot of non US imported parts but these wipers were imported to the US up until the 68. If the price is high for this reason maybe Mr T needs to be reminded of this. I know on the 16" non split rim wheel Mot was trying to get Toyota to do again they wanted VINs from vehicle that came stock with them to justify the need. To find VINs in the US for vehicle that came with these wipers is not a problem. 16" wheels that came on a FJ40 here was. problem since it didn't happen.

Give your parts guru the part number and see what he can find out. Toyota took away the ability for dealers to look up parts for anything that wasn't used on a FJ40 after 3/69. These wipers stopped with the 67 model. First post has the number you need. A few dealerships still have lod parts books laying around but it seems most counter people won't look any further if they can't find it on the computer. As far as most know 3/69 is the oldest Land Cruiser.

Cool, PM sent. Let me know what you find.

When I say my local parts guru, I mean he is the only one willing to look a little deeper, and sometimes comes up with some pretty cool old Toyota parts that I did not expect him to find, but he is very limited with Toyota Canada. So far, none of the guys at any of the other dealers have been willing to make an effort, some have no idea what a Land Cruiser is, and others think I am crazy or making things up
