It has taken 11 months to get 3 weeks worth of work done. But just when I think it is almost done I just make a list and see how much work is still left. :bang:

big thumbs up

Keep at it, looks great!

Wow, love it - what year?

Looking forward to seeing the progress

blue is faster :bounce: :steer:

A little bit more progress this weekend. The remaining parts are getting sprayed tomorrow, then wet sanded, then finally assembly (then property vehicle insurance) (then road).

Edit: forgot that somewhere in there is going to be some rear taillight wiring troubleshooting.

:wrench:we need more pics and progress reports!

Cruiser lovers with sky blue cruisers do, like the Malawi Blue Mule, now retired (from African adventures) in AZ :)

The hardtop is painted and back on (but not bolted down yet). roof rack needs painted & headliner needs installed

I am thinking I will install the roof rack and then invert the top setting it on the roof rack so that I can glue up the headliner.

Elliots Automotive Electric is the only solution I have found for tail light wiring issues. (please give me any other ideas if you have them)

Then I still need to bolt on a bunch of little items to finish it up.

Heck, I'd wave too and probably side swipe someone staring at that beauty~

She is really coming together nicely

I dont think I really thought about it until now but should the bezel go white like the roof?

While it matches the black hardware, I think the grill would flow better visually to pull the white from the roof. The grill itself will remain black to keep the contrast.

You can always change it back if you don't like it but I think it will look more stock appropriate.
