Any mobile FJ40 electrical guru's?

I have a 1976 FJ40 located in downtown phx (Central & McDowell). It had an aftermarket turn signal switch with trailer tail lights. I was told that the original turn signal worked and it was rigged like this with new wiring to be towed. I have new OEM lights and would like to get back to the original signal switch.

The problem is my Amish roots come out when I try something like this, and so I am looking for somebody that could come to meet to fix this problem. Any mobile electricians out there?

Do you have a 76 turn signal switch? Was your stock harness cut to install the aftermarket switch or did they at least cut the wiring harness off the switch and leave the stock harness alone?

From looking under the dash all the stock wiring is in place (and the stock turn signal is still in the column). The aftermarket turn signal is strapped onto the color and the wiring looks to all be separate.

I am hoping this is all good news. But even if it is, I still need help.
