Sorry, I know you’ve answered this many times. Replica Trd wheels and running spacers too?

No spacers, they’re already aggressive at +20mm, oem wheels are +50 or 60 I think. They weigh about the same. They balanced well and seems well made, no complaints here

On the way to 200k!

Just curious. Is anyone coming close to 200K on a 200 Series yet? Already passed that?

I'm only at 94,500 on a 2009 but I'd hazard a guess that we've got some high mileage types around here.

Also, with good maintenance (but not rebuilds, swapping an engine, etc.) how many miles would you expect to get out of a 200?
I’m almost to 20k 😅 one zero off!

pics please.... I am 100k behind :(
He posted an FB marketplace ad. I'm assuming it's not hist truck since it's posted in Alabama and his sig says northern Virginia.

No pics of the odometer but the truck looks pretty clean for 370k - no undercarriage rust, no mods. I can't believe I'm saying this but if the drivetrain is strong and there aren't any known issues $17k seems reasonable for this rig. Ok I've officially lose all perspective now.

Thanks I see it now. Didn't make sense on my phone. but got it.

Well I paid the same for the same truck for 100K less miles :)

I think this blue one is worth 15k all day long.

Though the fact there is still a "lien" on that is interesting.

Not my truck and no affiliation. Just something I came across online.

Heh, I'm not sure *I* would pay $15k for a truck with 370k on it - 7 years ago I paid $48k for a truck with less than 50k miles, and 100k LXs were going for the low 30s. The market is now silly, but $15k for that seemingly rust free truck somehow doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

yup you are right. as dirt cheap as 200 LX seem to be, 20k all day gets you a decent early one with a lot less than 370k

we have had Lexus cars since the early LS, and love them.

however when we get to the LC platform (80/100/200), I cant get myself to appreciate the LX equivalent. My wife loves her LX, but I have a mental elitism towards LC.

It isn’t justified, and I am smarter than that, but it is something I cant get past.

Maybe with a 300, where usdm customer have no choice but to buy LX

I know the owner of the 370k truck. He is a local broker that prefers Toyotas. Honest guy and a friend of mine. The truck is shockingly clean for the miles. Zero rust. His wife has driven it for the majority of the past year with no issues on the new transmission. He took my mother’s car to be serviced at a mechanic friend of his and loaned her this one for a few days (my mother bought her Range Rover from him and he often offers conveniences like this, only American car mechanics in our area). She was shocked how well it drove and similarly to my wife’s 2016 LC with 118k. I have heavily considered trading him my 05 LC with 235k but I am sworn to white vehicles only by my wife. My circle is small but often includes a trailer so the upgraded V8 would be nice.

What happened to the original trans? Any preventative maintenance before whatever happened happened?
