Looks Loooovely. But I don't think it was stock. :D

seen em on later fj55's, not sure if they were on 40;s or not.

I like it.
Got any more pics of this one? Is it Nebula Green?:flamingo:

Bought my 70 FJ40 in Nov 73.
It had white rims and cheap recaps.
I am pretty sure the white color was stock because the only other thing the previous owner seamed to have done was drilled a bunch of holes to mount the gun racks.
This pic was taken a few weeks after I bought the vehicle and it wasn't long after that I put a set of spokers on it.
They were the must have item for your car back then.
I know many of you do not like spokes but I still do and they have been on so long now they are almost OEM.

That is one cool pic. My FJ40 is the exact same as that one. Same year and same color.

If you are talking about the picture with the cute girl in white then that is an old photo that has faded much like the guy on the left.
The true color is closer to the blue in my avatar.
The Toy was 99.9% stock at the time that picture was taken.

That was the pic I was referring to. It looks tan in the pic which is what mine was originally. I like the old school photo and the original condition 40. A cute girl is always a plus.

That red one has some white steelies.
It's the only pic I have of it though.

The best wheel on a 40 is the spare. I always think that Nissan borrowed the Land Cruiser style when they made their Xterra with the a-symmetrical rear window with the bulge in the rear door for first-aid kit. I'm pretty sure that a stock wheels painted white are called for on my rig, so retro.
