Let's do that, we have been on a roll thus far;)

Group buy on sliders that are already beyond group buy pricing? $580 for DOM and no powder coat...let's catch our breaths from the last few GB's.

That is really cheap, wish he was closer tho...

Advise me on the clear lens upgrade, is it possible on the mini h1?

They come with clear lens. No upgrades for Mini's.

For the thread.

My WKOR sliders should be shipping out next week! Had him weld diamond plating to cover the entire top for a better step area.

Like this?

I'm trying to decide if it's worth an extra $120.

As someone above mentioned. No group buy available right now. But I'm excited to see what kind of bumpers and skid plate John@WKO comes out with.

That's exactly right. I think it's preference really. Mine are due to be here Mon.

That may be cheap for the Toyota 100 series sliders but sliders on my Defender 90 were $300 painted and on my Range Rover Classic $500 powder coated. It's all relative.

My sliders came in last night! I'm installing them this morning. :D

They are just bolted on now, but after I install my Bud Built skids and I'm sure they won't be in the way of each other then I'll weld them also.

Edit: I have to post on other Yota spots cause the 4Runner section is just lonely. :(

Welcome to the 100 section.

They look great. Did you get the whole thing powder coated?
I think the step top looks more befitting of a luxury SUV and less dune-buggy-like. Might have to find an extra $120.

[STRIKE]I also wonder if there would be any rust issues. These don't have any holes in the top like the slee step sliders. I wonder if they'd catch water and wash it toward the frame... trapping water between the sliders and frame.[/STRIKE]

* :whoops: I'm an idiot. I started thinking they mounted flush to the frame for some reason.

I wonder if John can do a texturized non-diamond steel top.

Thanks :)
Yes, I did get it all powder coated and any water that hit it would wash towards the frame since they are slanted in that direction. I liked the diamond plate due to it acts as a "natural" grip and won't wear off like paint. He did a fantastic job on them and would highly recommend them. I did also go with the DOM for extra strength.

I don't know about on the 100, but on my Runner there's no issue of rust occurring due to the diamond plate. There isn't anywhere it touches the frame in a way to trap water. :) Hope that helps.

Has anyone mounted the new WKOR sliders on a 100 series? If so - post pics!!
Particularly interested to see what the diamond plate looks like on our trucks.

After riding all weekend in muddy wet conditions , I think the plate will also help keep mud and crap off the sliders and the side of your truck. (almost like an extended mud flap) Mine are open (old style) and I get crap all up in the sliders and then all up the side of the truck. I kind of like the muddy looking land cruiser but dam its a pain to clean off.

guess you are ready to go over that big tree in road again at Uwharrie now....? :)

I am ready to head back and spend more time there for sure ! as for the skinny pedal , :whoops:
