Which small, young overland/expedition related companies do you know and respect?

The reason I ask is that I have recently created a rep agency covering the Pacific NW that focuses on small cycling and overland 4x4 companies. There are literally tons of rebranded **** being imported into this country and I'm attempting to sift through much of it to find the few products that are useful, made with care and are things that I would want to use myself.

I ask this question here bc most everyone on this board is levelheaded, practical and isn't afraid to seek out an obscure product if it moves their hobby/addiction/whathaveyou forward.

Thanks,
.matthew

you need to take a look on expedition portal and the forum there for some quality companies, many of which are sponsors here also
Equipt is the importer for Eezi-Awn tents & awning, National Luna Fridges and Front Runner racks
Extreme Outback makes the best compressor on the market
Adventure Trailers leads the way with some killer designs and quality
there are plenty more in the small to medium size range

..and also that unbiased photo guy Adam Tolman  :D

He needs to pay for his time taking shots of all the well equipped vehicles so the companies can pay him for the shots. Hey, no joke, you never know.

Heck if any of those companies want to do a sponsorship for California/Nevada BackCountry Trips, lead them to me?

Cruiser Crap and Expeditions West always come to mind. Specter OffRoad if you're a Land Cruiser nut with loads of extra cash to spend on nice sometimes rare parts.

Fixed it for you. :D

Equipt Expedition Outfitters.

Adventure Trailers, those guys have been nothing but cool with us...

Do you mean manufacturers mainly? I don't know if Expedition Exchange is small, but they are a top drawer outfit. Largely Land Rover centered in many ways, but a very broad product line. Some of it is their own design.

Wagon Gear for, well, gear for Land Cruiser wagons.

Thx everbody!

Im going to have to add MetalTech to the list. I just got a set of sliders from them. Not necessarily expedition specific, but they do great work, and dealing with them was a pleasure. Very helpful folks.

There's this new company with a killer product called Trasharoo too.

Dave won't toot his own horn, so I will. There's so much to be said for leaving no trace.

EQUIPT Expedition Outfitters - Home

Paul is a good friend of mine but also a straight shooter. He is very knowledgeable and offers a really nice line of expedition equipment.

Companies that I have dealt with for the buildup of my rig and securing camping/overlanding equipment:

TRD Parts 4U which has now branched out with a new website exclusively for overlanding called Go Overland (ARB bumper, OME lift) Phil, Jacque, Gerone, Chris & Barbera

Sierra Expeditions (chairs, fridge acc.) Wil and his wife

AutohomeUS.com (roof top tents) Mike Spies

Adventure Trailers (solar gear)
Martyn and Mario

BajaRacks (rear ladder)
Sergio

Campinglab (awning for the rig) Fernando

Winchline.com (synthetic winchline, tree saver straps, yank straps) Jon

Powertank.com (Powertank, filler gauges) Steve

Cabelas (camping gear and clothing)

All of the above are great to work with.
Cabelas you get many different operators of course if calling, but the other three companies I have personally gone through the owners and they are the best in the field.

You did not mention companies I would not deal with, so I will not list the one I will never deal with here.
Lets just say they make fun of their customers and potential customers online.
A very big turn off for me, and I vote with my dollars to not support them in any way.
