I am wondering what PS box this is? It is mounted on the inside left frame rail.

Is that upper shock tower welded to the box?
Looks shady to me. Looks like a late model GM saginaw box. The ones that mounted in the front on the outside of the frame rails.

No, but it is touching it.
I thought it looked like a Saginaw also. The owner wasn't sure.
The astro box is a saganaw box, but the pitman arm comes out toward the front so it turns backwards relative to a normal sag box.
Could be a scout.
Does it have a really long sector shaft coming down from the box?

Probably right. I don't see any mounting tabs on the box
box is to old for the astro ps. I say SCOUT .

Thanks guys. Consensus is it's a Saginaw. I hadn't seen one mounted under the hood before.
They are all saginaws. Just different products.

Right, I just thought all Saginaws had to be mounted out front.
There are lots of different PS boxes that are not sag..
Well yes, but in this thread, they ( standard GM, Astro, and Scout ) are all made and designed by Saginaw.
