Hey guys, I need to find out which fuse turns on with ignition? Are there any unused fuse spots in the vehicle fuse box to which I can use an add-a-circuit so that I can wire in my blue sea fuse block?

Search high current relay or solenoid.

simple fuse blocks....HA!

hey loud, thanks for helping me with the LEDs for my interior, but once again I am thrown off by the sarcasm that may come from your comments lol

Is that pic really a pic of a simpler fuse block to install?

LJ,

I get you are adding a blue see fuse block... but what for? I ran one directly to the battery from the rear... but I have a fridge and needed it powered 24/7. A pretty elegant solution that I will eventually install in the engine bay is this:

Here is the thread I used when wiring mine. Maybe there is some helpful info for you in there.

I had a Hella 6 fuse block that I had 3 hot and 3 switched on. IIRC I took power from the seat for hot and radio for switched. Ran the block straight to the battery with a fusible link in the line.

thank you! That write up really helps! Maybe we can meetup to wheel (once I get time off from schoo) and talk more in depth about this topic

is this what you have?

When I tried to swap my new battery from my old car in the Lexus, I didn't notice that the poles were swapped.
A few sparks and I blew the 140 Amp fusible link. Also the fuse of the radio and another were gone.
When opening the fusible link block, I notice there is 1 fuse missing: the 100 Amp Main.
Any idea if this is needed?

I just bought the new 140 Amp from Toyota, ough.

LJ, that is a Whelen PCC8 switch block/light controller. Plug 'n play type of install, great for having a central control for all of your off road lights...but not stout enough to run a fridge or any of the higher-draw devices (not really designed for that purpose, either). At least I don't think it is...Loud, is your fridge hooked through the PCC8, or something else?

Just depends on what youre looking to power with the fuse block.

Yeah that's what I figured.
