There is a clip behind the handle that hold it on. Remove the clip adjust the handle and put the clip back on. The clip can be tricky. I usually put it barely on the handle before placing the handle and then push the clip all the way on with a tool after the handle goes on. It will make more sense once you see the clip. I am sure google has a picture.

I have been checking the whats new section and this popped up. This is an awesome thread.

@iptman and @emac thanks for the help!

Harbor Freight sells a cheap tool set that makes removing the crank fairly easy.

You can also use a rag or plastic grocery bag to pull down around the crank to try and flick the clip off.

Yea don't waste your time with all that.....(no offense either) just saying that even the service manual says use a cloth. I use a tshirt between panel and crank handle, slide cloth/shirt whatever and the clip pops off perfectly everytime.

Just check which side the clip is oriented first so you attack from the correct side.

Uhh...none taken.

@Whiskerz thanks! I've got alot of help from many members and that certainly helped me through the process.

I got the handle moved and it's out of my knee's way, huzzah!

Thanks again all!

Haven't done much recently other than drive it!

I did get tired of the outside mirrors needing constant adjustment (which i simply stopped doing) so went ahead and placed two seperate orders for the euro spec mirrors. More expensive than what City Racer used to sell them for but not terribly considering the seperate shipping from France and UAE.

Given the cost I'm hopefully they do the job. Ill post pictures once installed.

Nearly 5 years since my last update. Guess that's what happens when you don't have any work to do on the vehicle.

Been enjoying driving it even if I haven't been able to take it out west yet. I have a fully licensed 16year old daughter who ive taught to drive a manual transmission. Here she is the first time she drove Nellie. No power steering was an eye opener for her!

I did have to replace the battery this spring. Old battery sticker read 9/09 so I cant complain about that!
