Wheeling in Wyoming (9 Viewers)

The TL;DR, Looking for Wyoming wheeling/rock crawling experiences.

I've been doing a bit of looking into destination wheeling spots, and Wyoming is a great state for so many reasons, but I just don't see a whole lot of wheeling opportunities, certainly not as dense as Colorado and Utah, and not very much on the harder side of crawling either. Am I missing something?

There's a lot to do and see in Wyoming, and I'd love to relive the first backpacking trip my dad took me on in the Wind River, I'd love to take my wife to a rodeo (we're shorter of rodeos than backpacking in Indiana, that's how bad that is!). I haven't considered winter wheeling and skiing but we do love Jackson Hole...

I guess I'd like to know if Wyoming is a wheeling destination, or if you generally combine some other activity to make it worth a drive - not that the views alone aren't just worth the drive!

What say you?

The one I see on OnX lists as passenger car accessible, so it wasn't really showing up on my radar as wheeling. Not that it wouldn't be worth it, I'm sure.
Like I said, I could easily be missing something. I'm fairly new to looking for trails and planning.

I've been eyeballing the Bighorns around Burgess Junction.
I've snowmobiled in that area and it's some rough ground. No freaking clue what it looks like without 8' of snow on it.

YouTube is one of the best things when looking for trails in areas

From the limited research that I have previously done, Wyoming doesn't seem to have a whole lot for wheeling outside of Morrison and designated ORV parks. Mostly overlandy type trails. Which can still be fun. Shame the Morrison Jeep trail is still closed on the switchbacks, its a bucket list trail should it reopen. Most certainly not passenger car accessible past the trailhead, a number of water crossings to get to the switchbacks.

I know what I'll be doing at work next week now.

I just got back from Grand Teton/Yellowstone. Love that area. Wish there were more trails. Just started looking at next year's trip though and will more likely be something along the lines of Rocky Mountain NP to Zion. I love Utah too, we should really plan a trip there eventually. Not Moab though, so much to see to the west. Devil's racetrack. Swells. Hole in the rock. Hotel rock. Comb ridge. Elephant hill. The crew would love it. Anyways, tangent over.
