Hey just seeing if anyone else goes wheeling in the Chattanooga, TN / Lookout Mt., GA area? Or if anyone from MUD is in the area?

-Brian

I am about 1.5 hours south of there :)

STLCA has members in Chattanooga and I live in Manchester about an hour north. The members and there phone numbers are listed at stlca.org. Our monthly meetings are currently in Nashville but if we get enough members in Chattanooga area we will alternate meeting locations.

Well I go to school up on the mountain. (Covenant) Just wanted to meet some other cruiserheads in the area. See if you know any other places to go wheeling and see if there are any good parts suppliers in the area. Really just trying to make some friends in the area nothing really that important.

glad to have another Cruiserhead in the area...there are a few around, even a couple up on lookout :)

As to wheeling, there are a couple of good places, some easier access than others. The best public place is Prentice Cooper WMA up on Suck Creek/Signal Mtn. PM if you need specific directions or want to go wheeing one afternoon, or you can email me @ todd_shirley"at"yahoo.com. I live in North Chatt, so its on the way from Lookout

There is an area on mt aetna across the valley from you, but its not really public access, there is a lease available and I'll probably buy in this year. I think its $100 bucks a year, but it renews in April, so I'll probably buy in then...if its still avail. There seems to be some legal hurdles that they have to overcome.

There's not a really good parts house in town, I get most stuff online and through MUD...it seems Roger (DSLTOY) above seems to have quite the hoard up in Manchester :)

Also, if you didn't already know this, Steve Brown (Steve's Off Road) over in Soddy Daisy is your best bet for a Cruiser mechanic. He's pretty much the be-all-end-all for Cruisers in the area. He just put an H41/Orion in my rig, and as always top-notch work.

Seriously, if you want to go out one afternoon, get a hold of me, I'll be happy to help anyway I can :D

Awesome! Yeah, don't know when we're going out again but we go almost every weekend unless somethings broke, like this past weekend.

This coming weekend I'll be out of town but even if we don't go wheeling we might be able to grab a bite to eat or something but I'll let you know.

Yeah she is, She's running good except a little bit of roughness that is from needing new plugs and wires but I have them, they are just in NC
