I went to a couple shops and one guy told me that the studs on the lc is super thick and you have to buy a special wheel to fit it. Another guy told me that was wrong and that they have some kind of wierd bolt pattern that you have to order the wheels specially for it. What's the deal here? I want some nice rims so I can mount some 33"s. Help

what's wrong with your oem's?
you know they fit.
and 33's will fit them.

33x10.5's will fit... but not 12.5 on the stock rim. also, if you are going 12.5" wide tire, i would go with the 3.25" BS because mine rub in the rear on the inside of the wheelwell/the body.

Use the Chevy 6 on 5.5" with 3.5" backspace. Just be sure you have a proper hub opening so that you will not see stuck trying to alter the wheels.

Where can I get some super plain black steel wheels that will fit 33x12.50s? Current wheels have a fake beadlock lip, and the salt and grime from this winter has rusted the wheels all the way around inside and on this lip.

go to 4wheelparts.com, click on wheels, then click on the rockcrawlers. get the bolt pattern mentioned. less than $45/wheel. you will be all set.

they will look like this:

Do you get rub in the inner area with stock and 33x10.5 on stock wheels?

No rub on a 60. Will rub on a 40 at extreme articulation. You can run 31's on a stock 60 all year long without a rub.

No rub, 33x10.5 on stock rims, full or nearly full articulation w/ Specter's 2" lift springs which are now probably down to 1.5" of "lift."

You want 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern and 3.25 - 3.5 BS. Also 4Wheel Parts has some RockCrawler black wheels that fit nice. I paid $200 for some Eagle 589 wheels which were 15x8, 6 x 5.5, and all AE are 3.25BS that I can tell.

Look at my sig for pics.

Need to replace my tires (31 x 10.5) I am looking for some down and dirty cheap wheels--15 x 7 or 8. The existing 15 x 7 chrome wheels are rusted away....help

The centre hole in a Chevy wheel is smaller than a landcruiser
I have Chevy 15x8 on my 40 but had to cut out the centre
