Rocker bolt sizes (1 Viewer)

Hi, installing a 60 series rocker tonight, but I’m concerned I have the wrong bolts.
Do you know if the ones for the 40 series are the same as the one for the 60?

I have 40 series bolts, I believe. I’m wondering if they’re shorter and not torquing properly.

If so, I won’t install tonight. Thanks!

This is for the rocker arm assembly? I don't know if the bolts you are referring to are also the bolts that project upward, but beware that pre-81? FJ40 valve covers are taller and have longer studs, which won't work with the shallower valve cover used on a 60 series. Just be sure to check fitment of all pieces, including the valve cover, before you declare victory.
