What is this all original passenger seat worth?

Like all 40 parts: it depends on whether you have them, or you need them. If I had a later model 40, maybe $50. I'm a fan of the shorter seats; they seemed to be more stable, but that's just me. These always seemed to me to be clearance from old Celica warehouses...those seats were always wobbly.

Have you checked the For Sale listings?

By the headrest I would say this.is a 76-78 seat. To me these are the best seats offered in the 40 series. 1/79+ may recline and be a little more comfortable. But the hinges are not near as robust at the 73-78 bucket seats. Pre 9/73 seats will a flat bottom slide around off road. With the current prices I see on 40 series part $50 would qualify as a DOTD price.

With or without the headrest? Does the seat have a metal back? That's a nice seat with a lot hardware.

I recently paid $600 for a set of both sides with new upholstery and I think I got a decent deal given the near new condition and rarity. If you were closer I would jump on that for $50. Shipping would be far more.

Search the classified section for similar sales. Seats, Head rest. Metal covers, seat belts, and rails.

Sometimes ebay has actual sold items prices, worth checking. Did you check the online places like $OR to see if they have any for sale? I kept my old catalogs with pricing just for reference.
Did you list it in the classifieds? Make offer + shipping

its my seat I'm just trying to put a value on it. I checked eBay. I saw 1 set for 1600 and the rest weren't in any good condition

I would ask $350 in today's world, but be ready to take less if someone was waving cash at me. All things in the free market, however, are only worth what someone is willing to pay!
