Baaaaahahahahahah that's actually one of my Gf's herbs. I believe they were indeed basil, but I am useless at that kinda thing.

That pic was taken right before Ike. We lived in an apt complex and there was no way I was gonna be leaving the bikes on the parking garage structure with the apocalypse coming our way.

1979 'Zuki GS750E. Bought it knowing virtually nothing about bikes. Total impulse. Thought it would be a good fair weather commuter to save some fuel. Ran like crap, had carb probs and intake leaks. Those issues I knew about when I bought it, but after purchasing discovered #3 Cyl. was DEAD. Exhaust valve bucket was seized open. Luckily there was no piston/cylinder damage, so bought a core head, had it fully rebuilt. Rebuilt carbs, new intake boots. Blasted and ceramic coated header pipes, new tires F&R. Peeled off seat skin and foam, stripped seat pan, patched rust and painted, patched foam and re-skinned with B&H cover (which has smoothed out nicely now. Was brand new and still had wrinkles from being stuffed in the box in pic). Cut and polished most of the aluminum (still have to finish one half of the motor). Stripped tank down to bare metal, smoothed all dents, de-badged and shaved, custom two tone paint job with vinyl "badges" inbedded in the clear coat. Still not quite done, but it's come a long way considering I NEVER intended on doing a rebuild. I have now put more into it than I could get out of it. This year I will install the Dynatek elec. ign. I bought for it last year, it needs a new stator, probably Electrosport, and will do a full brake job with new braided lines. Then maybe exhaust, and rejet.

My buddy (Jinzuke on this board) just picked up an RZ with a broken connecting rod, and he's just finishing rebuilding it tonight. Should be up and running by tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to seeing it running. Crazy two-stroke action!
Picked this up yesterday off of my brother inlaw. Just too darn cold to ride yet.

Haven't gotten to ride it much cause I'm on deployment. Dream about getting back to ride it almost every day! Any time I'm not dreaming about it I'm dreaming about my 79 Yota project crawler and my Supercharged VW though. Oh yeah, that's my tow rig on the left in the back too, which actually IS my garage!

Interesting brake disc. I like it, wonder how much heat it passes to the wheel/tire.
A lot less heat with that big of a rotor.
That looks like a Rockview Farms mike case. I used to work there.

That would be the last 2 rounds 8 & 9 of canadas arenacross cmrc located in penticton BC at the south okanagan events center i think it was march 12th and 13th i was racing junoir i placed 2nd out of my lcq and got into the A main and got 3rd overall the next day i got decommitioned and hit the plexi out of the whoops cause of a pile up.... but thats racing!.. im still racing hard, pushing for intermediate i have the speed and the skills!!
