    sup fellas,

how can i determine the exact year 2F that i have? a PO put it in my 72fj40 several years ago. i am looking at rebuilding it and tossin in an h55f in the next year, so it would be nice to know exactly what i need.

i can take pictures tomorrow to help out.

the guy i bought it from thought it was an 84ish b/c of the power steering bracket or something like that. i forget exactly what he said.

    thanks y'all,
    jonathan

Find the stamping on the passenger side of the block.

This link provides some of the numbers, you can interpolate yours if it is not listed.
