I installed a strobe light kit many moons ago and figured I'd pull the driver's side interior quarter panel to take photos of the power supply for my upcoming listing :cool:

Found this loose connector and have no idea what it's for :hmm:

Probably for some accessory that is not available in the US market. The middle east chaps get AC in the rear and probably other goodies that we never get.

Sounds plausible.
I found a nice connector up front below the passenger headlight. I panicked for a second. Then checked, and everything works, so...
 
You need to post model and year of your vehicle.

It could be A41, which looks to be for the Auto Antenna ECU, which is found on Australian models.

Why would it be in the back? No idea.

It could also be for the mobile phone stuff as well, which I believe was in that location.
 
I'm going with subtank ECU.
