I am always around.....:)

but be carefull I might like that Troopy to much.......and one of my HK's might have a AD ;)

Haha..you going to be around next week? I might be down your way

Wheels are allied type 81 soft 8. 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. No wheel spacers...

...It has the H41 with the granny low first gear so it pulls good in first now. I used to have to shift after 10 feet.

I will take some pics of the suspension

For some reason I thought it had 16" rims, I guess I was thinking of CruiserKen's 16" splits that were on his Troopy.

H41, wish I had one...

Does it have 4.11 or 3.73 in the pumpkins? I thought '82 2F's had 3.73, but maybe the HJ's got 4.11s?

Wow, that is a thing of beauty!

Thanks guys!

It has 4.11s in it. I wanted to keep the split rims on it and tried like hell, but there were no 35" skinny 16" tires available. They were all too wide for the wheel.

lots of parts in that pic.. ;)

Four beautiful Land Cruisers worth!

I've been hemming and hawing about whether I really need to own an FJ45 pickup. My deep emotional reaction to that pic clinches it for me. I definitely need one bad.

bull, looks great. what shackles did you use? where did you get them? what is the largest size tires you think you could have used and not had rubbing issues, on the rear that is?

I used the OME greasable anti-inversion shackles. I'm a ARB dealer now so I got them for myself. I haven't had the rears rub at all, but I bet a 35X10.50X15 would fit inside the wheel wells.

Bull,

Your 45 inspired me to test 35's on mine.

I like the height of the 35's, it's the with i don't like.
You also said that 35x10.50x15 would fit inside the wheelwell, i agree, but i don't think those exists in a road friendly thread. Or am i wrong?

here is a pic of mine
