What is better than a troopy?

i've got ssr's on my troopy. they're 35x12.50, though. they wear great, but are still noisy on the road. probably a little more aggressive than the bfg's. i'm not really a fan, but it's because i want something a little more mud-aggressive.

I have been running 35"x10.50x15 SSR's for a few years and like them a lot. Prior to these I had BFG muds. The SSR's are a little louder than the BFG's. They are better on wet roads due to the sipes and much better in the mud.

Do you have any first hand experience with those tires? Are they noisier than say BFG mud or any other comparable tire and how do they wear?
I bet those would look killer to on the troopie.

Wheels are allied type 81 soft 8. 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing. No wheel spacers. They do not rub on the tie rods. I do get a little rubbing on the frame when you are locked full turn. I took it into a huge open space and drove in circles each way.

Tires are 35X13.50X15 toyo open country MTs.

I do believe I will rub in the rear fender if I'm fully flexed. I'm going to work on that and find a solution.

The tires handle well. I'm going to have the toe set today, but nothing major. Steering isn't to bad without the power steering. I can see where it would be a bitch to parallel. Normal driving isn't affected.

It actually rides better now than it did. I live in a hilly area, before I had 30" tires on it I could go 60mph up the hill. Now it only goes 55 up the hill. I can live with that.

It has the H41 with the granny low first gear so it pulls good in first now. I used to have to shift after 10 feet.

I will take some pics of the suspension

Bull, if i keep the stock wheels on my LV, can you tell me the largest tire i can run without any rubbing problems once the OME 2.5" lift is conpleted? I love the way your toopy looks, but that is obviously more than what i will have using the OME kit. but i would love to have something close in looks. Mark
