I know what he's talking about, but Im not telling. :moon:

My truck came with all the towing equipment installed and that harness with the white plug was in my glove box. What's it for?

Pretty sure that harness is in my wife's truck's glovebox too...and it's not needed for my towing setup either.

That harness is for the brake controller plug. Its located behind the panel behind the drivers knee. It allows you to splice wiring into a break controller.

However, if you have a Teknosha, you can buy one that is quick connect and prewired so its 100% plug and play.

Ahhhh. Thanks. I have surge breaks on the boat trailer.

I use this automotive weatherstipping from Oreilly's It has its own peel back adhesive. Cleaned up the fender with some rubbing alcohol and cut it at an angle to match the fender. So far its held up great, multiple high pressure car washes, offroading, mud, rain storms with no tattering or loss of pliability. Its 8' long so there is plenty for reapplications down the road, although I havent had to replace it yet. You could probably double it up if you really wanted to close the gap. I didnt bother since it closed it up pretty well with just a single layer.

I purchased this and it works great - thank you for the suggestion

^^ @Atwalz you'd make a great neighbor

New modification just completed. Installed a brand new infant car seat. Full on NASCAR style in the 2nd row as we are now 3 wide in every turn. My wife came through with a big time Fathers Day gift on Sunday and pushed out a 9lb 12oz package of joy. Happy belated Father's Day to the rest of you!

Congrats on the baby. That's a whopper.

Weight reduction....getting a little phat

Hard to keep up with Willy & Atwalz; all I did was do the Dremel mod to the tire carrier so I could hang my RW spare.

hush...I just had to post something because I didn't like my message count being on 666.
