Did you do the install yourself?
Yep! Watched their 17 minute YouTube that walks through everything. There has been some small updates to their hardware so I called them to verify one thing but it comes with physical instructions also. And all the connectors only fit in one slot and are color coded so you can’t mess it up even if you want to. Even if you aren’t mechanically inclined it can be done for sure!

Wow I’m impressed! I have to decide whether I’m brave enough to dismantle my center display.

Just be careful to keep the trim above the steering wheel out of the way when/if you hit the start button so it doesn't get crunched by the steering wheel tilt.

Totally agree. Just pop pieces off and about 8 screws and you’re in!
Agreed too BUT be ready to have "gym arm day" while installing. Our trucks are extremely well built, and it shows when trying to pull those panels out - in special the ac vents are tricky. You WILL need a trim removal tool if you want to succeed.

Here's a few of my mods done over the last few months...

Baja Designs Squadron-R Sport LED Fog Light Kit for Toyota Tacoma 2012-24, Tundra 2014-24, 4Runner 2010-24, Set of 2 LED Lights (Wide Cornering Lens, Amber)

Let there be light... under my shelf. With the cargo shelf and the stuff on it, the cargo dome light was pretty much useless. So I added a few LED pod/string lights. I tapped into the dome light's plug/harness and zip-tied and double sided taped them to the shelf, and they behave just like the factory dome light.

Plug and play?

Desert-Does-It Multi mount panel & Fire extinguisher mount

Can you share the FE mount you used and which tank you got? I am wanting to do the same.
That looks like Desert Does It’s universal fire extinguisher mount and an Amerex 2.5 lb halon extinguisher. Around $225 retail for the bottle. I think the mount is an other $120.

I’ll save you from the debate if you want an extinguisher at all in your car vs letting it burn and letting insurance deal with but in terms of modern vehicles you definitely want a halon or halotron extinguisher vs a chemical/powder bottle. They are significantly more expensive but unless you’re doing it just for looks buy once cry once.

Amerex is a fine brand but I would recommend H3R Performance. The quality is unmatched and having used them before I won’t go with another brand. They’re also a small business and focused on off road and motorsport.

The Bracketeer, another small biz, makes a seat mount that’s half the cost of the DDI and sits much lower. I have one installed on my passenger side and it fits great.

I will say don’t bother with those element road flare looking things. They are worthless.

What makes you down on element? They don’t exactly shine in windy scenarios, but their run time is unmatched for their size.
