What’s the date code?

Had to Google it, looking around I saw a stamp that might be date code 2320 stamped on an oval shape on the back of the tire. I had a free tundra wheel lying around so I just mounted it on. Not bad for $50 full size spare. Almost herniated a disc taking it off the tire machine, tundra Steelies and Ko2 heavy as hell. I weighed the rim only it’s 40lbs. Combo weighs 97lbs

I had the old Slee battery terminal extenders that I replaced with these solid metal flat lug battery terminal that I got for $30.

This let me remove my threaded stud to SAE converter and really lock things down. (They make an SAE version too)

I’m also trying something a bit different for a disconnect for the Winch. I didn’t like the big plastic box’s mounting solutions so I’m giving this a try.

Went looking for challenges and the Mickey's didn't disappoint. Steep, loose rock trails mostly. Haven't finished rolling fenders so didn't want to risk panel damage. As you can see, rock sliders need to be cut back an inch or two

Replaced the front/rear diff oil with Redline 75W85 and installed the Pedal Commander this weekend. Not a bad Father's Day.

Replaced broken AHC height sensor with a used one off ebay. The sensor didn't fail, I broke it by trying to remove the arm from the sensor. Photo of what happens when you drive around with a broken front sensor. Both front corners completely dumped and on the bumpstops. Tucked 35's

And in other news, both of the wheels I've been considering now appear to be available in the color I want for about the same price. I prefer the Methods for a more traditional "truck" look and probably a little better protected from rock rash due to the shape. Wife prefers the icons because "fancy".

Maybe blasphemous to some around here but I've never cared for Vector 5s on the LC. And I'm considering those exact Methods. So it's an easy call for me.

Wow. I didn't know Slee came out with this kit. You can probably get another piece of 3M vinyl backing from Slee. Their install video sure makes it look easy inside their shop. Good feedback on trying to do this outside in sun.

I decided to order a sheet of the 3M vinyl from amazon instead of paying over $100 shipped. I got a sheet of the vinyl to the door for $51. I used the solar panel as a template to cut the shape in the vinyl. I also read the instructions on 3M's website which say you can use light detergent and water to help with the install. So I did and it went on like a champ this time.

One other pro-tip I would offer to anyone trying this, wear nitrile gloves. First time I didn't and my fingerprints kept sticking to the vinyl. It was a disaster. This time I wore gloves and it helped a lot!

I'm letting it "cure" now as the instructions state. I'll report back with the solar panel installed.

Icons, I’m biased however… I think it’s the perfect LX wheel. Something about them really suit the pre16 LXs in my opinion.

They do get beat up though and the valve stem is vulnerable.

There are better options for a lc200.

OK slee solar install round 2 is half complete! Cut the new vinyl and installed it (in the shade). turned out great. Will install the solar panel next week.

I got the somewhat similar shower drain design Method 305s and I love them... then again, those Icon Vector 5s look pretty sweet too. Flip a coin?

Mostly electrical stuff & underhood stuff like compressor, SwitchPros, Redarc BCDC & DCS LiFePo4 battery, my old Yaesu FTM350Ar ham radio etc. F/R air couplers and trailer SB50 charge port. Added Bud Built sliders/cat guards, Airbag Man air bags with sleeves,. Also had them do a post-purchase baseline and early 60k service.

Picked up an IKamper tent with 110W solar panel and mounted it on Rhino crossbars. Installed fridge circuit and ARB fridge, Getting geared up for a 7k mile roadtrip. Headed for Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Miquelon/St. Pierre.

It's a Kaon. I found someone in the US that listed them but were out of stock. I ordered direct from Kaon n Oz. Impressively quick shipping.
