I don't have a dog but I think they would hold up very well to dog paws. How do you think the seat covers will stand up to dog paws?
I really like how they look. Cheers

I hear you. I've resisted the temptation so far but those little terrorists can destroy stuff in no time. The more I see these seat covers the more they grow on me, I’m actually starting to dig the utilitarian look. I feel like I just need to spring for them before I give my kids a real go at the destruction they can dole out at any moment without provocation or warning.

Just finished the passenger side installation on my 2021. I found a rivet nut tool that works well smashing those m8 inserts. After a long wait I picked up Dissent Offroad step sliders for my 2021 HE at their shop a few weeks ago. I think they look great! I've been working on the install for the last 3 weekends which has been an ordeal solely due to my difficulty getting rivnuts installed so they wouldn't spin in the holes. I stripped or broke two installation tools. I finally used some plusnuts in a few locations got it done. Now my wife can get in easier. When I wear these tires out, I'll put in front spacers and bigger tires.

You found it at the right time. These are the kinds of things 3rd part manufacturers never have the time or budget to R&D out.Pulling my LRA aux tank to change a charcoal canister as I'm getting a small evap leak CEL.
What do I find, a small coolant leak due to the LRA chaffing against this line. Lovely.

Or their Hyperdip product, which seems to be more durable. I used it to test out howYou can hit that chrome with Plasti Dip.
Is that for the rear heat? I hadn't thought about the potential of failure there. I bet I have that slowly developing too the way the tank is so tightly jammed in there. It's always something with aftermarket stuff, and perhaps it was serendipitous to find out this way rather than in the deep backcountry in the middle of summer.
Rather than source and wait for an expensive factory aluminum line, I went the simple $8 fix strategy. 3' of 5/8" coolant line and two hose clamps. Cut the bad segment out and spliced in the rubber line. 30 minute fix and should allow me to use a slightly different routing and make steel on aluminum chafing go away.
I just got back from a weekend of mobbing in the dirt so maybe that finally did it in. Didn't see any coolant on the ground but it was actively dripping and drying on top of the LRA tank.
Wonder how many other LRAs have this developing problem?
Is the grey one wrapped or coated with something matte? I like that look. My three stage paint approach is: scrape with shrubs, scrape with tree branches, pummel with gravel. I'm thinking a vinyl wrap would be awesome (but also very costly).Picked up my ‘08 from @starwoodmotors Friday. A few weeks back was doing some paint correction and found where the clear coat ends. Had planned on getting this done within a year anyway.
I bought a ‘17 2 weeks ago with really bad scratches that the dealer didn’t correct but had priced low so I spent yesterday doing a 3 stage paint correction.

doesn’t the @Eric Sarjeant builds have some type of rubber mat in between? It's always something with aftermarket stuff, and perhaps it was serendipitous to find out this way rather than in the deep backcountry in the middle of summer.

Yes, Eric's team uses a neoprene rubber sheeting. I used it on mine, per Eric's guidance. I can post pictures and part numbers if anyone needs them.doesn’t the @Eric Sarjeant builds have some type of rubber mat in between?
