Same here. 5 weeks. Looking forward to seeing them installed Markuson! Does anyone have concern with the self tapping screws inferring with wiring or anything else behind the rear plastic panels? The 10mm bolt being the primary load bearing contact point will be fine but was concerned about how deep those self tappers go on the other side of the panel. I am having a dual battery installed this spring and will have the USB’s and 12V’s in the cup holders. Getting it done at slee with their cup holder install. Will be installing these panels after the dual battery is done.

No issues behind there for those screws. I’ve had those panels off many times. My panels literally have hundreds… Perhaps thousands of self tappers due to my crazy Velcro set up. The self tapping screws included with the kit won’t go particularly deep after they’ve passed through the Kaon unit and washer anyway…and there are no wires in that spot.

Also… Kaon really does think through their designs carefully and it would be massively out of character for them to botch screw placement.

Talk with Kaon via phone and according to the guy, it was the first one they’d sent related to the update. It definitely took longer this time than the 3-4 days the shelf took. Delays were waiting for i termational release in Aus, and waiting for customs to get them to US postal.
I had checked a few days ago and all sold out so they must ha e made em and shipped em. I'll get a ping when back in stock.

What haventi done to a 200 series this week :D

Dobinsons IMS installed with OME UCAs. Supposed to be 1.4” up front (C59-540) and 1” in the rear (C59-559V) but I ended up getting about 2”/2.5”. Went in knowing it would probably be higher than advertised so no biggie.

I’m honestly surprised how firm, yet still plush this setup feels. Can’t wait to hit some trails!

Truck looks great! Could you elaborate on the "firm, yet still plush" comment? Our cruiser is in need of new suspension and I can't decide if I want to go factory replacement or aftermarket with mild lift. We love the way it takes small bumps, but the whoopy marshmallow feel drives me nuts. That said I would hate to have a Land Cruiser that feels like an old F-250 when I hit bumps.

I anticipated the ride to be more stiff like you are describing with the F250, especially with the rear springs. The steering and handling is more firm and buttoned up but on the freeway it still rides plush. I guess I was anticipating a harsher street ride but I’m happy with the results.

Replaced my hitch electrical harness that I had smashed on a rock. I'm going to hack up the old harness's frame to see if I can make it swivel up and out of the way when offroading. If that works, then I'll do the mod permanently to the new one. The hinge requires 17 in-lbs of force to move, so should stay wherever I put it. (Thanks for the idea @CharlieS )

Checking to make sure there's enough room to swivel upward. It's tight, but I think it will work.

Spent the afternoon at Discount Tire trying to get new tires (285/70R17 Firestone Destination XT) but had a few issues. I’ll post a thread on those tires specifically after I get all of them mounted and get an initial assessment. (2 of the 5 were the Pmetric AT2s due to an inventory mistake). We tried to drop the spare, and we could not get the tool to engage in the winch. It turns out a piece of gravel had worked it’s way into the funnel and was keeping the tool from engaging. Here is where the gravel was.

Since I have to go get the other tires later this week, and it wasn’t really DT’s fault I brought the truck home and eventually was able to fish out the gravel to where my wife’s hands could reach it. This little bastard would have been really annoying if I was trying to quickly change a tire…

I’ll post more on the tires once I get a few miles on all 5. Here’s a teaser.

I don’t see much on these tires out there, but they seem like they may be a good fit for some folks.

Yes it was, good eye.

Only place I’ll take my truck.
Yes, SDTRUX was recommended from friend . Did my first service. Complete professional service with pictures form all areas that were serviced. Never in life saw such detail from a Toyota dealership. Will definitely use them for a future lift and most likely replicate your setup.
Congratulations

I installed the c59-540 (1.4”) front as well along with the c59-540 (1.5”) rear but got way more than 1.5” in the rear. Now have a bunch of rake and trying to figure out what to do about it.

After a long wait I picked up Dissent Offroad step sliders for my 2021 HE at their shop a few weeks ago. I think they look great! I've been working on the install for the last 3 weekends which has been an ordeal solely due to my difficulty getting rivnuts installed so they wouldn't spin in the holes. I stripped or broke two installation tools. I finally used some plusnuts in a few locations got it done. Now my wife can get in easier. When I wear these tires out, I'll put in front spacers and bigger tires.

Good for you. I am told they are getting out of the 200 slider business for now, which is sad… they look great!

The process took a lot longer than a week, but in the past 2 months or so I had the following done.

Ironman 4x4 Foamcell Stage 2, 2" lift
SpiderTrax 1.25" spacers all around, this set the wheels up with a nice fitment with no poke.
BFG KO2 in 275/70/18 on a new set of
Tundra 5 spoke wheels
new OEM CVs

So far I'm pretty happy with the lift. The ride itself is much stiffer, almost like a new car, however it also takes bumps at a stiffer and gentler way than some of the new cars I've driven so far. Again this is comparing it to a set of stock shocks with 200K on them.

With the set up I really could go taller on the tires, but I decided to stick with this set up. No rubbing/contact with this set up. I did have to mould the fender liners with a little bit of heat and a 2x4.
