I tacked them down to the tank with 3m contact spray adhesive. This was after spraying, before flipping them over.

PS. you don't need 10', that was the smallest length they had in stock when I was ordering. 5' would be plenty.

doesn’t the @Eric Sarjeant builds have some type of rubber mat in between?

i’m glad people like you are sharing this stuff on the forums.

Appreciate it. It's full transparency whether I spent $50 or $5k so the next guy can take it and run with it. I've modded cars long enough that this kind of stuff doesn't even bother me. It's frankly expect to @04UZJ100 point, which is why I much prefer OEM parts where it can be retained. Heck, even big corporations make mistakes that only show after some field use. You wouldn't want to see the technical debt there is in aircraft o_O.

Regarding rubber mats. This particular interference isn't where the mats are placed. I'll get a pic in a bit.

Installed some Baja designs LP4’s on some CBI ditch light brackets along with an auxbeam controller mounted on the pad behind the shifter. Also AHC in lo mode makes it nice for working under the hood. Lol

Is the grey one wrapped or coated with something matte? I like that look. My three stage paint approach is: scrape with shrubs, scrape with tree branches, pummel with gravel. I'm thinking a vinyl wrap would be awesome (but also very costly).
It’s a spray coating( similar to bed liner) but a proprietary blend that Starwood uses. It’s blended with Kevlar.

Your 3 stage paint approach is what led me to this 😂😂😂

Fabricated a custom Roam 52L mounting tray for my Dissent bumper. Not done done, but functional.

Installed my BB rock rails!

If only I was as fast as they were on the installation video… I was 3-5x longer to put mine on. Ha!

On a side note, my kids protested as soon as I removed the factory side steps. We’ll see tomorrow morning how they get in/out with these. (3 and 5).

How do you think the seat covers will stand up to dog paws?

I really like how they look. Cheers
The covers are very sturdy against dog claws

After multiple issues with trying to order parts that were on inter galactic back order, I finally got everything I needed to build a phone mount. I used the ProClip console mount (which says it fits up to 2018's, but doesn't fit my 2018 all that well), a Panamint arm and a Schosche magnet. Very happy with the way it works, it puts the phone right where I want it and hold it securely.

Saying hello to the Forum. I'm a long time Jeep owner who made the switch and joined the 200 series ownership community this week. I have more than 20 years of experience with Wranglers, but as I got older, softer and had kids my needs in life changed and I bought a new-ish 200. It came with a bunch of upgrades from the prior owner -ARB lift and bumpers, HID lights, winch, roof rack, LRA expanded tank. I confess, the ride will be a New England family toter for camping trips, ski trips and unstoppable sled for when I want to be sure to make first chair on fresh powder days with no excuses for not getting there. It won't do much rock crawling, but true to the forum it will have to conquer a lot of New England mud in March and April.

My question is - what am I missing? I have a hi-lift jack laying around that I'll get the mount for. I'll swap the stock winch hook for the Factor 55 one. I can't see me ever needing a snorkel. I'll add a rear tow point for the hitch. Beyond that, it's probably over-built for my needs, but it will be fun to see how hard I can push her. Looking forward to joining this community.

your rig looks great! I have been considering switching to these wheels in the bronze on my White 2013...... I think I just might have to do it!

I'm digging this tinted windshield! Is it challenging at all to see @ night?
Not at all. It’s 50% ceramic and at night I don’t even notice it. Then again I’ve been tinting my windshields on vehicles for as long as I can remember lol.
