Details, please! I would love to get these on my 2008 also.

To be honest, I actually didn't order these. When I purchased my 200 series, the previous owner had already placed the order, but they hadn't come in yet. They were part of the deal, so the company ended up shipping them straight to me. Origionally I planned on selling them, but when they came in and I saw them I decided I needed replace my old ones. I had a minor issue with the wiring because the harness came with an H4 headlight plug, but that wasn't a big deal once I figured out how they had everything routed in the harness. I know they weren't cheap because the company did use new OEM housings (they were actually shipped to me in the OEM boxes after modified), but they do look very good. They did post a video about these headlights on their instagram which is listed below.

Been a while since I’ve posted my mods, so thought I’d throw this Summer’s on here.

Was inspired to get a proper fire extinguisher and mount. Very nice piece of kit.

Fabed up a prototype folding shelf for extra sleeping space. I’ll use steel cable for final version, if I go this route.

Installed hatch switch and handle from Cruiser Outfitters, very worthwhile mod.

Got a new RTT, really love how easy it is to set up compared with my old Tepui.

I drove my new to me 19 home to WI from NE

Making the most out of my factory roof rack and 8020 cross bars. In addition to the custom light bar bracket, I added a Rhino Rack Batwing. Drilled hole through the 8020 cross bar to connect the brackets. Used M8 bolt that goes through crossbar and added M6 bolt that slides in channel for each bracket. I can remove brackets with awning attached in minutes.

Also picked up an ARB LED light strip made for their awning. I'll figure a way to use it with the Batwing or other application. The LED strip is mounted on aluminum. UPS guy delivered a 5 foot long box that was super lightweight. Wasn't sure what was is in it, nice surprise. Also the ARB controller can change from bright white to amber or combination of the two and can adjust brightness. It's bright.

Also added some scene lights to the OEM rack. Picked up the idea from another member. Fabricated a quick and dirty bracket out of aluminum. Ran power from roof to back door to Blue Sea in jack panel. Fishing the wiring through the rubber boots was a huge PITA. So were the OEM brackets in the roof rack channel, trying to thread the thumbscrews back into those plates without removing all the cross bars. Persistence paid off. Note: the new Rhino Batwing awning on driver side does block a lot of the left side LED light. Figure I'll add light strip to awning when using it.

Lights are controlled by two dial switches. Detent for on/off and can control brightness for each light.

I bought it a few weeks ago but was not able to get around to registering it until recently. After owning a few more primitive Cruisers the 200/LX is so nice. After a thorough cleaning I Installed Ezi-awn/K9 load bars (a roof top tent will eventually make its way up there), removed the 3rd row seats and belts, added Weathertech floor mats and the Lexus rear mat for the LX without the 3rd row.View attachment 2412237

Swapped out one of the headlight assembly since it had yellowed and me trying to clean it up only melted the plastic over a year ago. Decided to finally buy a new one.

Also assuming this is a the sensor for external temp?

I put it here thinking this was right. Only seemed so.

I hate foggy headlights. It's like the eyes of the vehicle, and if they are foggy or tarnished, gives an old and unflattering look to the overall car.

Clear headlights can make a vehicle looks years younger and is one of the more dramatic changes that can be made. Nicely done!

Brake job this morning, front and rear. Toasted the OEM pads from Flagstaff to Sedona, AZ over spring break. Went with a step above OEM (Duralast Gold Max) from Autozone. Prepped the stock rotors with abrasive wheel on pneumatic grinder, prepped pads with same abrasive plus cleaned up the chamfering. Test drive to bed them in and this pig feels like a sports car on the brakes vs before.

Time will tell how pads really perform/last though. I've heard brake dust sucks vs OEM but whatever....

Btw, one of the easiest brake jobs ever!

Yup, 2008. Either toyotapartsdeal or mcgeorge toyota. Those 2 were the cheapest for me but one was cheaper on shipping than the other.
Also FSM says you need to remove the entire bumper to do that. That is false just gotta pry back the corner

How did the Duralast Gold brakes work out in the long run? thinking about getting same. Thanks

I'm on my second set. They really seem to wear well. As far as brake dust goes, I can't say as I changed over to dark gray poweder-coated Rock Warriors shortly after and they "hide" any brake dust issues. Keep factory rotors and you should be fine.

I ordered a set of morimoto 2stroke LED bulbs and installed them into the "highbeam projectors" so DRL's run as the standard headlights did.

Went to get my oil changed. The stealership then informed me my radiator was cracked and wanted $1500. I refused mainly because I somehow missed the whole uproar on the self cracking china doll radiator issues and thought they were scamming me. The only scam was the price to repair. Thanks to the PSA thread, I saved about a grand. I honestly don't know how long my wife has been driving around like this but she never had temp issues otherwise so we're lucky. I only managed to replace the radiator and hoses. Changing this thing in a hot August garage in Texas is too much. Water pump, thermostat, etc... will have to wait for cooler weather. One tip I learned, if you go OEM radiator route, definitely shop the dealerships around the country. When I found the cheapest, I was able to get my local dealership to match the price.
