A couple hours with a wire wheel. I split it up over two evenings. Then did primer, graphite wheel paint, and red anodize paint with a couple coats of clear. Prep one weekend install the next weekend.

My suspension arrived much faster than expected. I know what I'm up to on Saturday.

The LX doesn't have any blank switch plates, so I had to get creative and drill in a switch for my compressor.
1) Figured next to my AUX gauge would be best.
2) I checked the back of the trim
3) marked and measured 12 times
4) drilled the hole in the perfect position
5) when I pushed the trim back into place, I saw a bolt in my way and started crying.
6) then I pretended that the bolt wasnt there and tried to make everything fit.
7) then I cried again
8) then I collected all my plastic drill scraps and melted them together in a piece of wood (used the same bit to make a mold)
9) then I used the hatch inspection panel to stamp the dash texture into the plug
10) glued the plug in and sprayed on some 303.
11) don't be like me. Measure and check 13 times before you drill!

Wow very impressive fix. I would be still crying looking at the hole and probably shopping for replacement panel.

Replaced my left rear tail light with a Depo replacement. The old one was cracked, and had filled with water and was growing Algae. Went with Depo due to cost and good reputation on other platforms for non OEM replacements. This along with a headlight polish went a long way to cleaning up the cruiser.

Finally install my Band 14, 4G WiFi and cell booster system.

Went with the broom stick version, as it has the best signal.

Used the Rigid mount attached to my ARB roof rack.

@VooDoo2 - I'm about to ask a dummy question....

Why is the sway bar below the axle?

I admit to never having any LC up on a lift - so I would know how dumb my question is/isn't - all I have at home are jacks and jack stands.

Stock for Australia, something due to a suspension mod, in the middle of the rod replacement project, or I just don't understand? Will it get tucked up behind the axle when all buttoned up?

Flushed the AHC on my '13 LX570 and also replaced all 4 globes (Ebay by way of Japan). The fluid that came out was dark and the protective bracing was a bitch to get out. Ended up using 4 liters of new fluid for a complete flush. Time to go from Normal to High height was cut in half and the ride on my dirt road is significantly better. It is so insane to me that some Lexus dealers refuse to perform the flush service at the suggested 60K interval. Lexus of Portland told me their "master mechanic" said it is a sealed system so maintenance is "unnecessary"

Got the 2nd mount installed today so both CB and the Band-14 cell booster/radio-repeater and they both can fold down. Band-14 is FirstNet good for Hurricane Season, but I am at odds as it seems my Verizon signal is better overall.
