Put the RW spare under the truck last night. Found out the original tire had never been out or on the ground. My 2011 it appears came with Michelins. It has a beautiful red clay color.

Kate Hudson's mom had some minor work done in the last couple of weeks - Tundra front suspension with 2.5" Icon coilovers (OE Tundra upper A-arms, and was able to squeeze 2.0*/1.5* of caster - not awesome, but it drives pretty well). SPC upper arms are on the list, but not a priority. OME2722 rear coils, with 1.5" wheel spacers (rear only). Toyo Open Country AT2s in the 285/75R17LT flavor. Believe it or not, the new tires are slightly taller than a set of BFG KM2 35x12.5R17 that I have. Thanks to @I Lean for the shop space, and to the boys at @cruiseroutfit (www.cruiseroutfitters.com) for many of the parts.

I don't love the combo of the old man gold Cruiser with the stock Rock Warrior wheel colors... Any thoughts on wheel/ring color since that's the easier one to change?

Goldie, while wearing some nice glamour stuff to hide her age beautifully, has some ordinary Walmart wrist bands on both arms...aka stock running boards. :) It just does not fit a gal of her legendary status.....

She still has a job to do - AKA haul the kids to school while being driven by my 5'1" wife. The decision on sliders is waiting for me to make up my mind on the project as a whole - do I really need a semi-built 200 AND a built 80? (Yes, that's a rhetorical question...:flipoff2:)

Well, if you can’t give Goldie the Hollywood treatment like she deserve, then maybe she needs to move on to another man who can.........just saying.......i am available.....(btw, just to be clear, i am talking about your LC, not wife.) :D

I went with Slee sliders on my truck which is otherwise similar to yours. They function well as regular running boards but look better. My wife and kids have to have something to get in and out as well.

As for the color, you could get the truck wrapped . . . . but old man gold is fly!

You just gotta embrace the old man gold. The benefit I've found is it almost always looks clean, in pictures at least.

Here’s the assortment of tools it took to get the coolant pipe bracket off the last plug on the passenger side. The bolts just laughed at my 3/8 impact wrench. To get clearance for the half inch impact I had to string together about 2 feet of extensions. Not shown: pb blaster, beer and plug socket. 13 ft lbs my ass!!

My favorite part of the plug tool assortment is the BFH. I've got one just like it my son labeled "Correctomatic" with a Sharpie.

I like the gold with black. This is what I have planned for the Blizzard Pearl LC. Not murdered out but darkerView attachment 2122764

Those do look awesome. Mine would be scratched to heck...so I can’t see doing it to mine...But I do love the dark rings on there. 👍🏼👍🏼

Hmm... I guess I could just keep pulling my rings off and painting them...scratches and all... Hmmmm....

Rattle can the ring if you hammer them. No biggy.

That was my “Hmmm...” thought in my above post. :) Might just try it!
