Perfect example of why I love this thread... Little things like this that are great ideas but I would just never find them without a thread like this. I just ordered one..
Thanks for the tip!

The MT sliders come powder coated. They also cost an absolute fortune to ship! $455 was the quote I got to PA.

I was able to order a set but now considering waiting it out for some Bud builds.
My mt lifers should be in this week also !! I had them on FJ and beat the crap out them even lifted up fb with fork lift .

Re-charged my AC system using the "AC Pro" 20 oz can from Autozone, ~$50. I assume there is a leak somewhere, not sure how long it will last. The gauge on the can said it was completely empty, 0 psi.. got it up to roughly 20 psi, could use more, but its in the acceptable range according to the re-charge kit.
Any common failure modes for the AC on this URJ200? Not many threads.

That is the one I have. I painted it a silver color. One thing - It is NOT waterproof. Light can be seen through all the seams. I bolted mine down to a jerry can mount.

Uh oh...

Replaced the PCV valve and the heater hose tees. I used the Dorman tees the first time around and wasn't happy with the fit. They measure 15mm OD, where the OEM pieces measure closer to 17mm. So I ordered the proper OEM tees and replaced again.

Sliders came in today! Now time to race to clean, paint, install in time for Carolina Relic Run!

Thanks to White Knuckle for taking my order and making sure it got expedited so I'd be able to use them for the trail ride! Great customer service

Black, 2013. Did a Clay bar detail, compound the entire truck except rear bumper and rear doors (just didn't have time before it started raining), then polish it.. then wax it... Lighting wasn't good enough to get good before and after pics but in person it looks soooo good and u got out several of the Texas pinstripes and most of the swirls and fine scuffs. The entire hood, 2 front panels and 2 front doors probably look at close to new as they could get. Like black glass. I love it.
Used a random orbital polisher and Megueiar's scratch X, Ultimate Compound, Ultimate polish and then a liquid wax.

You know we don't believe you without pictures 😁

Alright, so I've had my new '19 LC for a few weeks now and finally got around to my first appearance mod (I'd previously installed a Pedal Commander unit, but that's not too visually interesting):

Not super involved, but it makes the front bumper look nice while it's waiting to be replaced. I also pulled out the rear seats and installed a cargo liner that I had imported from Australia. Someone is a fan:

Anyway, loving the community so far and happy to be aboard!

Looking less and less like a grocery getter thankfully!
Going to bang em up at Carolina Relic Run next weekend

Looks like where the output port on the air compressor pushes on the insulation inside the hood where the hood closes...

Thought maybe the focus was on the spray of what almost looks like coolant... but didn’t really make sense for that...

Indent into the hood insolation from the connector for the air hose. Just sawing that you dont need to get the manifold or the braded hose to use the tire inflator kit.

Ah. Gotcha. Thanks.
Ya...only need manifold for air locker activation, etc.

Busy week for the Cruiser:
1. Washed about an inch of Colorado Mag Chloride off of all surfaces. It's been a long winter here in the high country and the roads have been rough on vehicles. I commute weekly long distance mileage in the central rockies on both very rural roads (lots of wildlife hence the 30" light bar I use strategically) and the I70 survival drive back and forth to Denver. Humbly, I'd say I'm a driver-testament for there are no other vehicles that can be trusted more than the Land Cruiser for crazy and dangerous winter driving.
2. Switched from 33/12.5r18's to 285/70r18's Nitto RG's. The 33's were worn becoming sketchy on ice and wet snow. I wanted similar height, but more narrow for a sharper footprint. For non-stock wheels and no spacers I'm convinced this wheel size and tire size might be optimum for the 200. At least for my use in Colorado. Tires mounted on XD Series Machete 18x9 with 25mm offset. As expected, I had to heat and slightly push back the inner front mud flap. Also, I don't feel it in steering, but there is a very slight polish "kiss" on stock KDSS arm.
3. ARB bumper light hack. Mounted a 10" Rigid fog light in the winch cut out. Plenty of venting and perfect low angle aux light addition for those blizzard-asteroid drives.
4. Front Runner wind fairing. It definitely took away wind noise, but not sure yet of the lower edge resting on the paint. I put down a strip of clear 3m film for paint protection. Curious about taking off the rubber dam and setting the fairing adjustment high enough for a gap between the roof and the bottom edge of the fairing.
