Nice!
Any details?
At least my build helped someone. Maybe? :)
Well it did introduce me to Jason and he has been awesome with helping build what I wanted and incorporating his designs. I had some very specific requests as I didn't want swingouts and wanting to keep the bumper looking like it belonged vs a after thought.

very nice! I also cannot have swing outs and the only option I have seen so far is the ARB so very interested to see where this goes.

Some things arrived. They're heavy.

Well.... I hate to admit something so lame:D, but I bought a microfiber washing mitt/brush/extension-pole thing and some microfiber towels and such from Target, because I have gone two months now since new with no wash yet! It's been pollen time here in the ATL, and fairly regular rain, so I have been sort of avoiding it. But now it's clear and I'm a little embarrassed by the bugs and road dirt on the dark blue:frown:. And add to that the fact that I live in an apartment in midtown and can't wash my ride! So I'm a bit unhappy with the situation...
It appears that the classic spray-wand coin-operated car washes are pretty rare anymore, especially in a city, but that's how I plan to go. Spray it off, soap it down and go over it with the wash mitt/pole. I didn't have anything to wash it with - because my old '01 Tundra had faded paint, white, and I rarely washed it. But all that's changed now:cool:

Picked it up, drove it home, and removed the silly cancer warning sticker CA requires be put on just about everything.

CA could save a lot of lawsuits and headaches if they just tattooed newborn's butt with:

"Warning:
There is a direct correlation between birth...
...and the eventual development of cancer."

Got tired of watching the crack and decided to quit gambling

No crack!

But I leaned on the fan shroud while working on it, so had to place three interrupted sutures. Will throw some JB weld on it eventually.

And I even cleaned out my cup holder!

Where's the link to the install with pics step by step and the link to buy? It looks great and forgot i was going to do this.

Edit: rear door/hatch button

All the goods are here:
200 Series Rear Exit/Handle Kit - Now Shipping!

I know we sold a few at Cruise Moab this last week but should have complete kits or at least all of the needed parts in stock. Let us know, we'd love to help!

New Power Stops front and rear. Also, now my spare matches the other 4 wheels and the 285/65/18's. No problem at all fitting that tire into the spare tire well.

I added a Ram Mount for my iPad mini based on others here - thanks @Romer, @TJsTACOMA, @Dan Higgins, @Willy beamin, among several others for their variants which served as a baseline for this. My first test drive to work this morning made me wish I had done this sooner - great mapping software combined with a nice viewing angle means this will be very handy on the trail, perhaps other applications as well.

: iPad mini w/ LifeProof case - Gen2 from Verizon but no active data plan, just a working GPS antenna
: Tablet X-Grip - RAM-HOL-UN8BCU
: Medium length arm - RAM-201U
: 1.5" ball mount - RAM-238U
(note - be sure to select Ram components that all match, i.e. 1.5" or size 'C')
: 3M double sided mounting tape to fill in minor gaps between ball mount and plastic trim cut to fit using an x-acto knife
: Pan head bolts with fender washers and nylocks (like those shown on post #79 of Romer's Build)
: Black rattle can paint to top off the zinc pan heads and make it match (I know this won't be permanent but 'good enough for who it's for')

Viewing angle is great, and it does not block any of the console controls, and there is no physical interference for the passenger. Others have used the long arm vs. the medium arm I purchased - either should work based on your preference.

The photos show the 3M tape as grey when it really is black and blends in very well - just an FYI since my phone's camera using LED interior lights and parking garage fluorescents seem to muck up the photo. When I was doing a dry fit of all the components, I didn't like how there were micro gaps between the ball mount base and the plastic trim next to the knee pad; also, the double sided tape seemed like it would give additional support although it probably is not needed.

So, not as glamorous as a custom bumper build or other bada$$ mods happening recently (a lot of great options seem to be growing exponentially!) but sometimes the simple mods are rewarding in their own regard.

One banana mod

I'm assuming that you discovered the crack since 4/15 ?
I had been watching it for more than six months. Decided to start marking it's growth since it really didn't seem to be changing. Once I proved to myself that it was indeed growing, finally pulled the trigger and bought the radiator...and then watched it grow some more! After several more months, I had a free weekend, good weather, and a nice bottle of spirits, so I decided I had pushed my luck enough and tackled the job. Was frustrating at first, since I couldn't download the TIS instructions, but a second glass and some Jimmy Buffett put me in the mood to relax and turn the wrenches.

I'm still curious how much further I could have pushed it.

Nice! Same group of parts I bought, I'm just waiting on my used Galaxy Tab 10.5 to arrive.

How sturdy is the mount? Any shaking or whatnot?

You're not going to read anything from the Amazon Kindle app while in 4Lo and using crawl control over rocks, but it is quite sturdy otherwise. There's movement, but not excessive by any means. I can report back after some trail runs, but so far in the urban jungle of Denver with a crazy hail storm thrown in, this setup works perfectly for my needs.
